Yeah, it is absolutely a sign of craziness to care to do linear regression these days.  Roll Eyes
Absolutely! You should fit an exponential growth law Wink (Which you did essentially by taking the log() of the price). Anyway, an average 10-folding time of 10 months is impressive! Let's see how long BTC can keep this up!

it's ready to plunge trust me.

So many broke Joes trying to get cheap coins by making completely empty statements that no one will take seriously.  "Trust him" lol!

Not too late to swallow your ego and buy back in before you miss the boat.  Bon voyage!

That guy in the gif is about to broke his legs lol

It kinda looks like it on first impression but if you look at it closely, from an anatomical perspective by going onto the ball of his right foot  the hip joint is free to rotate, turning the whole leg with no lateral movement required of the knee joint, which is what would cause damage, it only being able to move in the sagital plane Smiley

Conclusion:  He's got great leg movement.  We all could learn a thing or two.

What's up with the euro market on Gox? One 70 btc sell dropped the bids to 149 euro, the equivalent of 203 USD, and bids take forever to replenish. I'd trade in USD but the USD > euro exchange rate is too volatile to be holding USD all the time as a european.

Looks like asks are up a couple thousand coins since I went to bad last night.

Someone is trying to collect cheap coins before the take-off.

Someone should program a bot that just repeats this phrase on an hourly basis in this thread. Might as well.

You're surprised ask depth is deeper than bid during an upward trend?  Is this your first day looking at a depth chart?  lol so funny..

To be frank, then, we should probably also have a bot repeating how bid depth is less than ask, and "how far we'd panic crash" ("omg omg!") if everyone just dumped, for no apparent reason.  This is repeated daily, and it's supposed to instill fear in everyone who's clueless.  It's hardy an observation when you hear it everyday.

When you hesitated to buy  in 2012 and finally you didn't Wink too bad. By the way the next step for crypto is ripple you should focus on this instead of technical analysis mysticism

You know, this is the wall observer thread... why are you here? Oh, that's right, to keep chiding people into buying coins so they don't "miss the boat."

Posting pictures of bid/ask depth is hardly as you describe, and people aren't being nearly as ridiculous as you indicate. Funny... the quoted is showing the number of coins that need to be bought to break upwards past 220...

Was that me, "repeating how bid depth is less than ask, and "how far we'd panic crash" ("omg omg!") if everyone just dumped, for no apparent reason"?

Not a bear, but I feel the weekend dip coming for some reason...

Most likely a weekend stagnation, no fiat in/out of Bitstamp for the next 4 days.

But I could see a small drop happening. Going all-in Sunday night.

No fiat in and out? Banking holiday or something? Is this only on Bitstamp?

Bitstamp-only as far as I know, might affect other exchanges (Mt. Gox. users not affected!).
