Whoa since when did Virtex run almost in line with Gox? They were constantly the lowest price around. Or maybe that is the answer, EVIL arbitrageurs got their money into Virtex.
edit
Also didn't realize Cad had lost some value to usd. Virtex btc effectively = to btc-e price.
ya CAD/USD went down a bit.. but not much really, i think virtex is a few dollars higher then usual because of the 1 atm. theirs line ups! and poeple meeting up for coffee and buying bitcoin. Can i buy an ATM i heard it was like only 20K ? The Vancouver ATM is reportedly using Bitstamp. The main reason being that Virtex couldn't provide a test service in advance of going live. So the CAD price increase is more likely news-driven. What is also interesting is that the day 2 volume of 139 BTC exceeded the whole October monthly total traded on Ripple (135 BTC).

3% is considered a danger zone, but not the zombie apocalypse event horizon. As the rate rises, the US spends more on interest payments. Also, many consumer loans are derived from the 10yr, including some mortgages. Small rate increases can have huge, immediate effects. The 10yr isn't the only relevant rate, but is considered by many experts to be one of the better near/mid-term indicators. *edit* also, wtf are you talking about. The 10yr is not on the move right now. The markets are closed. It is pretty low given the last few months. But, high for the year.

Its perverse. The PMI comes out better than expected (producers are succeeding) so there is a monetary move to stocks to invest in producing companies and away from the bonds, which causes the interest on the bonds to rise. But the government spent all the money for the next generation of production already so now has to pay more interest to keep floating dollars. This meager economic success means that the FED has to suppress interest rates, or the government goes belly up? WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE? :'::.:::::.:::.::.: : :.: ' ' ' ' : :': :.: _.__ '.: : _,^" "^x, : ' x7' `4, XX7 4XX XX XX Xl ,xxx, ,xxx,XX ( ' _,+o, | ,o+," 4 "-^' X "^-'" 7 l, ( )) ,X :Xx,_ ,xXXXxx,_,XX 4XXiX'-___-`XXXX' 4XXi,_ _iXX7' , `4XXXXXXXXX^ _, Xx, ""^^^XX7,xX W,"4WWx,_ _,XxWWX7' Xwi, "4WW7""4WW7',W TXXWw, ^7 Xk 47 ,WH :TXXXWw,_ "), ,wWT: ::TTXXWWW lXl WWT:

I think, but ya the FED is just going to keep printing and keep it low. Markets are making new highs still.

which is the same as bitcoin but like silver to gold and will be worth 1/4th of bitcoin because there will be 4x of them This is still one of the dumbest abuses of logic I have ever heard and my faith in humanity dies a little every time I see someone post it.
