There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

DDOS attack on bitcoinity epic failed !
They forgot to DDoS bitcoinwisdom. I'm just wondering what the ddosers might be attempting to accomplish. One possibility is they're wanting to sell OTC and have an agreement that the price be the highest 24hr volume usd exchange price so they might be trying to prevent trading on stamp till gox catches up? But I may just as easily be making shit up!  |
