What the hell is this? Are they actually using the name "coin" for a universal bank card?

BLE? funny copycats they even tried to hijack the symbol !! LOL >> bruteforce via bluetooth?OMG!!  Roll Eyes

From the video it just looks to copy the details from the magnetic strip and then show whichever details you choose.

This wouldn't work in europe where we have the chip & pin system.
I'm not even sure if uk businesses accept just the swipe & sign these days.

I would expect the states will see chip & pin eventually too making this product pretty dead in the water.

postponed to monday after the senates hearing

or, if hearing went good, it goes up even more. That's the catch 22.

It just reminds of the fact bitcoin will never go mainstream unless we dumb it down immensely for the masses.

In some ways, government hearings on the Bitcoin protocol are like studying gravity. It’s useful information if you didn’t already understand the properties, but it does not allow much latitude for alteration.

Looks like we're headed to the $500 - $532 range. I think that's where the next major resistance and potential for a "crash" (you know, like last weekend) will be.

The funny thing about Bitcoin is that anyone in the ranks of the elite who understands it well enough to see it as a threat will automatically also want to own it. Now their interests are aligned with everyone's. They might be misguided, like Mellon, but they're Bitcoiners all the same.

Bitcoin is like the blob. Punch it and it just assimilates you.

Now THAT should go on a t-shirt! Smiley
