Guys, difficulty just jumped up by 200 mil!!!  Roll Eyes

November KnC hardware hit the market. I'll have less BTC to throw away, trading...  Roll Eyes

Pretty bullish, isn't it?  Wink

If the price falls it's going to be painful for miners. Not even talking about ROI.

Nothing bitcoin is painful unless one overinvests! Don't you think?

Got no numbers! Can only speak for me! I bought a 7970 before asics which I now use to game! Currently mining with 7 usb sticks!
None of these would turn me upside down!

Fair enough. I was more talking about miners with bigger hardwares.

Obviously, but I don't have any numbers.

Miners are in a closed loop of chasing their tails. The more they mine, the less value they produce. If it weren't for bitcoin's decreasing mining reward, they would never be able to come out clean.

Anyway, I decided that I wanted to help some with the dirty job.

In these charts, are the outer edges real, or just plotting artifacts?

I mean, does the leftmost edge of the green plots indicate the lowest extant bids in that exchange, or just the lowest bids that were considered by the plotter?

Ditto for the right edge of the red (ask) plots.

The outer edges are just whatever is returned by Gox which is apparently not the full order book. I'm not sure what determines how far they go. Possibly it just returns something like the closest 1000 asks and bids.

It goes back by ratio... say 100$ one way and 100 the other the valley is where trades have been executed in order from most recent in the front to older in the rear.. each line dictates another trade in that timescale..

It does not show trades, only bids & asks.

http://btctrading.wordpress.com/2013/12/10/long-term-update-daily-view-bitstamp/

"Price is holding above the midpoint ($ 650) of the last rally and it is moving upward towards the 2nd deviation line of the VWAP, located at the same level of the recent double top. There will be probably a correction before moving above the all time high at $1163, that correction could be a nice buying opportunity for who is looking for a good moment to buy."
