I'm curious .. what is the rationale behind people buying on BTC China right now?  Are they thinking "no inflow, legal outflow = priceless BTC" ?

China why not go and stay above 2900 Cheesy lol, stamp at 600 before gox for a second LOl the markets are alive I say. The really crucial moment comes when we see whether or not institutional money is sitting on the sides and what they thought the new low will be.

yeah that was my thought ...dead locked up wheels screeching HALT on any purchases in China as people will probably sell or hoard what they have
depending on how they want to use btc internally

if 1/2 the btc purchase and such was china...well my fear is if say another gov't says hey.....lets lock btc down too! Argentina comes to mind.

Not for most of them, some poor sods are expecting 200, 100 or even lower coins, they'll stay bitter again  Grin

Yeah, I hear ya. Just remember to value those coins appropriately. 2k in a year, 25k in 2+, maybe even 100k in 5 years-- careful, these chances don't come many times in your life (as I can tell). Keep mining, keep strong, rok casbah.

China is China. The US Senate expressed no intention of neutering Bitcoin.

The sad part is that due to the spread the price jump does not take much volume. Even 1 BTC can raise the value $100 it seems
