FWIW: I don't think China is "completely" out of the game. I think they're in the process to control the arbitrage based fiat leak. After that, they will be back fiercefully. Bitcoin is not "a bright idea", it's the monetary future. Noone in perfect sanity wants to be out of the train. They control the major bitcoin asic production atm and most possible they will continue to do so.

So expect them. And expect them sooner than later. Wink

well no, just deposits and for non-us citizens

gox is not ignoring us (they say this), but gox just doesn't do anything for them Cheesy

My XBT Withdrawal made yesterday was held back and this evening I was blocked from RMB and XBT withdrawals. (My account reflects my balances but withdrawals are frozen for now.)
Crikey...that doesn't sound too good.
So, any reason from your end that may have happened?
I'm getting worried that the next time I log in I'm going to get a 404 and this lot will have disappeared with a stack of coins.

Not sure I have 3 accounts with the same e-mail domain and cell number, and a few failed RMB withdrawals otherwise low volume and no pump and dump behavior I am sure it will be sorted tomorrow (I have a mandarin employee looking into it so I will have an answer tomorrow.)
Best of luck.
I just emailed them again but they seem to have me on 'ignore' now.
Gutted.

Dead/dying now. Going to sleep for 15 hours. Expect some upside IF I had any successful.

Yes, I did specifically have to request a normal toilet in a five star hotel suite. They put it in the bathroom away from where I'm sleeping. I ruined a thousand dollar suit the last time I had to use one of those.

Pretty good battle going on at Mtsux between 600 and 625.  I think we need to hold at or above 600 for a while before we can resume the climb.

China seems to have other ideas.

If the CCP was smart, they would have made regulations such that its citizens rather accept btc than USD.....

Doesnt the CCP want to sell dirty USD?

Actually i think the Chinese government has one option.... they can still control capital and taxation with bitcoin

use BIP32 wallets....each bank has a wallet , then each wallet has accounts thats associated with a business. So now those business can accept bitcoins and all transactions can be audited.

Ofcourse each business have their private key for their "account". The master private key belongs to the bank.....

Doing this, China will hold the largest amount of btc in the world!!!! Thats POWER!
How about that? Xi Jinping ?

I think you are conflating totalitarian state socialism with communism, a common error among folks of a certain age.

The only thing communist about China these days is the name of the ruling party.

Don't mistake a totalitarian regime for the socio-economic policies of communism, even though these two went hand-in-hand for much of history.

There's a lot of rampant capitalism in China.

Is that the same bank that took a $42 USD receiving fee from my deposit after 2 other banks also took their cut?

There's a lot of rampant capitalism in China.

Apart from the corruption that lubricates it, there is little else.
