Regarding early adopters-

Picture the folks in Cyprus, who are suffering a %100 haircut of their deposits above 100K.... a potential 50% loss due to Bitcoin volatility doesn't look too bad to anyone facing a bank "bail-in".

I think buying Bitcoin is actually a flight to safety.

Cyprus was a while ago too. If they would have gotten in they would already be up a ridiculous amount.

i broke the 720 wall now we can go up Grin

having cleared major resistance by breaking 770 (gox) 725 (stamp), there's not much in the way to 850/900 now (looking at past volume).

or a trip back down.  it should fit the pattern of december.

going on computer-and smartphoneless holiday for one week. Awesome timing, i'll have some withdrawl symptoms. Still doubting what to do: all in btc, 30% fiat + buy order at 500 & 70% btc.

Bitcoiners are sometimes seriously delusional. How is a rise based on some shady Chinese CEO accepting deposits to his own bank account sustainable?

500 before 1000, mark my words.

if it rises it rises if it crashes it crashes, bitcoin doesn't give a fuck if it's sustainable or not, it can go to 10k and not be sustainable

I really hope the bears keep holding their fiat.  $300 is right around the corner right? hold your fiat for the longest time

Just another trap, 300$ is the fair price. China is out, bitcoin is finished.

Sustainable as in floating above these prices without major dips for at least a month, which at the moment appears practically impossible.

do you mean "appears impossible to me"?

Yeah, it's a bit strange... but I don't think it is because of some unknown news, it doesn't look like that.

At this point we are above the price before the Dec 17 "crash", so this seems irrational since the fundamentals are still there...

we even broke the log chart downtrend; but as I posted a couple of days ago I was expecting to see something near to 800 (on gox) before another collapse

No, to any sane person.  Wink

Obvious pump and dump is obvious.

Chinese whales/insiders will have the last laugh.

you call yourself sane but yet you are speculating against long up trend in deflationary currency which is in early phase of adoption. How sane is that?

Sell low, buy high. Allways good  Roll Eyes
And next time, go all in or out .That is even better! WOHO!

If we reach 750 Euro, the downtrend is over. But that is a long way up. Let's relax and wait.
