These markets are supremely boring right now.

They will get very fucking exciting if Ghash.io gets another 8% hashing power.  It is currently sitting on 42% and climbing fast.

I was kind of hoping that Cointerra would ship soon and most would go to people in the other pools.
Those Ghash guys sure know how to scale up though.

Blockchain.info stats only show 38%. Did you get the 42% figure from somewhere else?

who runs that pool?

I moved back to btcguild because it was the first pool I ever mined at and because the ownership and operations are transparent, mostly ((full disclosure, also because when the difficulty is rising quickly, variance becomes a killer)

This is much more accurate, but over 2016 blocks.
24 hours is too variable. I doubt their real share is much higher than 30.8%.

Ah yeah I see that. But that's a pretty short time frame so luck will influence the figure a bit. Will be interesting to see if the 4 day chart follows this rise

2 buys on stamp at 21:40 and 21:45 (Arizona) with a combined volume of about 400 sends the price up about $10.

Drive a lambo and they don't care.

My friend lent me his Ferrari Spider and I was sitting at a light saw two mildly attractive girls so I started to rev it up. Looked at the corner and saw two beat cops. I thought oh shit, I'm about to get yelled at. Instead the one cop motioned his fingers in a rolling motion suggesting I light em up. I didn't want to disappoint so I light em up. I saw cheers and clapping in my rear view.

Yes I am definitely seeing indications that we'll break to the upside in the short term.

Any targets? I'm looking at $880-$907 Stamp give or take (maybe a bit higher, but my exit points are in that area). I still don't feel we'll be re-testing the highs.

okay, okay, i'll give you my targets, but only because it's such short term Tongue

my model predicts:

a) breakout upwards out of the present ascending triangle to the resistance at $875 - $880 (hard to tell because the $875 low on the 12-hour scale looks like an outlier)

b) this breakout will form a bearish wedge, continuing for another 12-hour period

c) bearish wedge will break down and retest the $775 - $780 support

here's a (rough) diagram of the smallest possible range (movements could be $5 to $10 outside of this range without breaking the model):

im actually surprised by this buying pressure... the triangle is just about out of space on gox and threatening to blow, if there is enough volume.

Hubris: (/ˈhjuːbrɪs/, also hybris, from ancient Greek ὕβρις), means extreme pride or arrogance. Hubris often indicates a loss of contact with reality and an overestimation of one's own competence, accomplishments or capabilities, especially when the person exhibiting it is in a position of power. The adjectival form of the noun hubris is "hubristic".

well too much Fiat ? waiting the price to head the direction you desire ?

I guess hubris describe both of us, or maybe I can say most of bitcoiners as well  Cheesy
