TERA's girlfriend:

Honey, could we do some chuppa-chuppa?

No sweet, I'm looking at MACD right now. It's important.
I really need a bot Sad

Bots were not that great recently, I was mainly losing money with them in this sideways market. But keep some of them live as a hedge if some flash crash happens when I'm not around.
If there is a flashcrash then I want to be there to trade it. But during the sideways market I'd like to have a bot playing the 1H and 4H MACDs for me, so I don't have to do the labor of checking the MACD every hour and I can sleep normally and lead a normal life.
Whoever mines the block which ends up containing your transaction will get its fee.

The people left on MtGox with Fiat are forced to buy super expensive BTC and withdraw these before Gox closes.
That makes Bitcoins rare on the market and the price breakes everything.

You can't withdraw BTC from MtGox at the moment, it's broken.

Did the IRS or whatever return Gox's money yet? Didn't they seize accounts?

Can anyone explain the $200 difference with Gox?

1. gox has something, god knows what, that make some people prefer it.

2. The fiat transfer system is ineffective, so ineffective that arbitrage in sufficient volume is not possible. This is a bullish pressure.

Bullshit. Withdrawal made 2 minutes ago:

Waiting now 50 minutes, withdrawal of 100BTC, transaction is still not in the blockchain...

I did several withdrawals, here's the first one I tried :

Just over 1 hour ago txid : 5bd711d500bb7aeb53e897e13a9a1768688afa46ebd51bf40e866f4a7cb05b22

Not on blockchain

I wonder if it's something to do with the amount of Bitcoin, I withdrew 10 BTC on my first test and 11 on my second test.

Neither have been sent.

You're withdrawing too much Tongue

Things like that happen with all exchanges from time to time.

ya they keep the bare min. on the hot wallet... probably let these bigger withdraw hang and pile up and then process them at the end of the day in a batch.

being entrusted with people's bitcoins is serious shit.

I heard there were issues with the withdrawals lately in IRC which is why I only made a couple of smaller tests, I'm waiting to move the rest but I won't do it until it's fixed.

FYI, here's a couple of links about withdraw problems at MtGox which have been going on for about a week now :

http://thegoxreport.com/

Transactions which haven't been processed : http://skanner.net/MtGox/mtgox_tx.php

They are not updated instantly and I believe they work off the MtGox feed of unprocessed transactions which is itself at least 2 hours behind.

If you have a failed BTC withdrawal from gox check here
http://skanner.net/MtGox/mtgox_tx.php

There are a number of reasons for the delays.
I had a 6 day delay on a farily large withdrawal just after christmas, but in the end the transaction gets deliberately double spent and a new transaction is created.

Apparently it works more reliably if you keep withdrawals below 50btc.
Very annoying but BTC withdrawals do eventually get completed.

Can anyone explain the $200 difference with Gox?

Market analysis based on Elliot Wave Particle Duality Theory suggests that deltas over 10% typically are indicative of coming market failures.  I'm running calculations now in my Google spreadsheet to confirm.

wtf ....

This appears to be a benevolent form of trolling, but it is not. I know something that is going to happen on feb 14 that will prove it. Can't say, but it is called The Thing. Additionally, Proudhon was recommended self inflicted lobotomy, and he is considering it in this hour.

Guys, Gox was "going under" six months ago, and six months before that.

Guess what? They're still here.
