I'm waiting for the bull to say "we're still in stealth phase".
I live in a town of 12,000 where only about a dozen people have heard of it and I'm the only one who owns any. Yeah, we're still in the stealth phase. yep, I live in New Zealand, and it seems the same. none of my friends know about it, Im trying desperately to teach them. I think it will take another 2 years before the mainstream will all go out there, download a wallet, and buy $100 of bitcoin each. those will be happy days. Yes I told my brother to invest $500 when BTC was at $200 and he acted like it was monopoly money that people are pumping. "I don't trust it"... LOL yeah I told my friends to buy at $120. then $230, then $400. then I stopped cos it was really a bit too risky. when the price hit $1040, they look to me eyes wide open and say. SO DO I BUY NOW? ? NO. It's too bad most of the newcomers will fall for the Mtgox Trap. "I successfully deposited in Mtgox. Is now a good time to buy?" SMH.

You're thinking of a best case sceanrio in which Bitcoin becomes a massively adopted global phenomenon where every person has an interest in using it. But this graph is not intended to show success cases where something because a legitimate successful enterprise. It is intended to show ponzi schemes or things that fail or become unuseful (or not all that it was hyped up to be). How many times does the graph have to be wrong before people stop posting it? I've been seeing it since 2011. You know. I was going to say, in all seriousness, that this graph would probably not be used if we get to 5 figures. Then I considered that for a moment and changed my mind. I think we will have to get to 6 figures before it isn't used. Ha, if one day Bitcoin is worth $124,877 each and someone brings that graph it will be epic and hilarious.

Geez, I caught that falling knife at almost the exact bottom. Of course if it crashes again, I'm doubling down. Not bad for a guy who thought a MacD was a hamburger a few days ago.

I heard a story about a wealthy man who went out onto the streets of Chicago as part of an experiment and advertised FREE money. he had $1000 to give. nobody stopped. obviously too good to be true. except for a man who needed bus money.... he asked for $2.

Obviously, this is old news ...the troll box is in meltdown over this (basically "Russia bans BTC"). Issuing “money surrogates” is illegal in Russia, the regulator said. Seems like an even bigger reason for the US to back BTC but would explain why everything is diving at BTCe (they are probably relocating to London right now).

I watched a youtube video where someone tried to give away a gold coin at a beach somewhere in the US. No one would take it. He tried to pay for a $2 meal at TacoBell with it and the teller wouldn't accept it even though it had a legal tender value printed on it. People are living in fear of everything and refuse to trust their own senses to tell them right from wrong. Yet, they will take whatever some idiot on the television says as gospel.

No that graph represents human emotion, in regards to hype, everything on the planet has been adopted according to a normal distribution curve.

It's a big psychologically Problem. You pay 800,00$ (or 1,000,00$, or 10,000$) for one Bitcoin. Exchanges etc. have to switch better to mBTC. If not, new interested people will be skeptical and development will be decelerated. (Bubble?, Ponzi?, What the fuck is this? Why should I pay sooo much for only one? I'll lose my money....)

Are there any non extremist on this thread? We fall $100, then we bounce back up a little and thats the sound of bears going back to their cages? LOL Everyone is either screaming single digits or CCMF, without a sound piece of evidence (or a clue what is going on).
