Yes, but the question still is WHO. From the sentiment it doesn't look like the buying is coming from retail investors at all. Traders, whales... maybe. Don't really know, thus my question.

Whatevs. Price goes down -> I buy. Mechanically. As always.

Same. I dunno what the fudge everyone is waiting for. I'm buying. I guess I'm all alone with this but I feel completely fomoed... Everytime I see a green candle I get scared... what if my knife catching 10 (retail) buy orders down to EUR2300 will never fill?

I'm calling it... NOW is the time.

Rick watches this thread. He's a jealous bitch, yo.

Tell Rick not to be sad, for he is fortunate enough to live in the time of r0ach and witness the world's first real evil cult of Judaism holocaust:

LOL, I'm there with ya. I just buy in small amounts automatically at specific intervals. So far I'm quite lucky in managing to get at the high every time and completely miss any trough in the buys.

If no one is buying how the fuck the price stay there? Manipulation?

I am serious (this time), no one here seems to be buying right now, much less the "regular" people, so... who is buying to support the price?

No matter what it 'seems', for every seller of a Bitcoin, there is a buyer of a Bitcoin. Sometimes, this fundamental principle seems to escape attention.

Yes, but the question still is WHO. From the sentiment it doesn't look like the buying is coming from retail investors at all. Traders, whales... maybe. Don't really know, thus my question.

I buyed my last little fraction of bitcoin just a week ago or so, I even stated that here.
I was not buying since 2013, I buyed now only because I think the price is really "low" in my perception.

I think I'm not the only one.

Line is 200 MA Weekly.  In theory this is the long bottoming zone.   I am mechanically buying a small amount each day.  But I sure feel like shit.   Which is bullish?

that end 2016 volume is insane, whale bags must be insane. looking at that graph, we can stay in the 2500-3500 for a loooong time.

That bothers me as well.  Especially because I can’t find the exchange that has this volume. It’s not Stamp and it’s not BFX. Which makes me think it’s fake and should be disregarded.

Does anyone know where this volume is supposedly coming from?  China?

Other data, which I think is important for your WO purchase evaluation:

"It seems to me that everyone here has "Bitcoin, s"

I have enough to have 2, for this reason I am accumulating.

If I had more quantity maybe the approach would be another. Roll Eyes

Yeah, I get that.

If I had 100+ BTC probably I would not be that much obsessed with accumulation or at least not until I had rebalanced (take some profit) it with the rest of my net worth.

On the other hand, it is also possible that people with 100+ BTC say the same about 200, 500, 1000.... Hodlers gonna hodl I guess.

I wonder if the people with tens of thousands of BTC also feel like they need to accumulate more. Maybe they do too.

note: good for historical data only. modern data seem weird, eg no binance.

No digital shitcoin has fundamentals whether it's bitcoin or the 2000+ other coins.  Transaction validators are designed to centralize in every single one, except in the case of IOTA that requires artificial convergence to function at all (so basically same difference).

Interesting, but some questions are very naive or strangely formulated.
Example: they don't know about the existence of Casascius coins, derp.

They probably do. Once you get into "the game" you don't quit unless you played roulette and got burnt so hard that you can't get back even if you wanted to.
