If no one is buying how the fuck the price stay there? Manipulation?
I am serious (this time), no one here seems to be buying right now, much less the "regular" people, so... who is buying to support the price?
No matter what it 'seems', for every seller of a Bitcoin, there is a buyer of a Bitcoin. Sometimes, this fundamental principle seems to escape attention.

@realr0ach
I actually find most of what you say quite entertaining but you last post was just weird, even for you. Just, completely off topic, nothing to do with any of the ongoing conversation.
Are you OK?

What the fuck? There's a show on history channel featuring Alex Jones talking about the Bilderberg group, then it mentions Peter Thiel investing several million dollars in "the seasteading institute" LOL. The whole show is done Ancient Aliens style too. You can tell the purpose of Alex Jones is entirely to deflect attention away from the evil cult of Judaism moneychangers if they use him in mainstream media disinformation campaigns now.

Are you OK? In case you've been living under a rock, the guy in this thread named Elwar talks about "seasteading" all day and how he's going to create a business ushering in a new renaissance of people living on floating rafts free from government interference. But then it appears Peter Thiel (another shitcoiner) beat him to it.

It's one of the few places left where you can spend your bitcoins online. Unfortunately. I'm to the point of considering ordering a credit card. My Amex was supposed to be only for emergencies but I've racked up plenty of useless sky miles over the past year with it. Two words: Shift card. More words: spend your Bitcoin at any place that takes Visa. I've spent my fair share of Bitcoin, now I'm panic hoarding. I get that. My Shift card sits unused. But I was speaking to Elwar. And his specific stated issue. And whom, if memory serves, has conducted his entire life on Bitcoin for several years now.

From the sentiment it doesn't look like the buying is coming from retail investors at all. Traders, whales... maybe. Don't really know, thus my question.

lemme get this 'straight' I take off my hat. Bob follows suit. I put on a hat. Bob copies. Bob, are you flirting with me?
No man. Just, no. We need (ahem) hat solidarity in these difficult, trying times. Rick watches this thread. He's a jealous bitch, yo. I'm in real trouble when he gets home tonight. The real flippening. From now on Bob will be known as Bitcointalk's white powdered bottom bull grill.

Whatevs. Price goes down -> I buy. Mechanically. As always. Same. I dunno what the fudge everyone is waiting for. I'm buying. I guess I'm all alone with this but I feel completely fomoed... Everytime I see a green candle I get scared... what if my knife catching 10 (retail) buy orders down to EUR2300 will never fill? I'm calling it... NOW is the time.

I just buy in small amounts automatically at specific intervals. So far I'm quite lucky in managing to get at the high every time and completely miss any trough in the buys.

I buyed my last little fraction of bitcoin just a week ago or so, I even stated that here. I was not buying since 2013, I buyed now only because I think the price is really "low" in my perception. I think I'm not the only one.
