早上好 WO's.

So much for $4K Monday.

<...>
I'm expecting us to get into the low 4Ks, then drop again.

Sounds about right.

Trump is completely useless but Salvini single-handedly starts a full blown holocaust on the evil cult of Judaism:

Bitcoin Billionaire Brock Pierce Reviving Mt. Gox; Giving Away $1 Billion by Charity DAO [Interview]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qP0HS50IVIY

haven't watched this through yet, but seems like some truth some fantasy?

https://medium.com/@nikuhodai/dont-trust-the-dishonest-why-gox-rising-shouldn-t-be-taken-seriously-ffbaa1d21c86

While I enjoyed the vid and Mr. Pierce is fascinating and undoubtedly a smart cookie, I totally agree with much of the above Medium post.  It is along the lines of my own thoughts posted earlier; that it was a letter of intent to negotiate a sale only, with no consideration acknowledged or anything to show a deal had taken place.

Pierce, via Sunlot does not even 'arguably' as he put it, own any Mt Gox (Tibanne) shares. OK, he is free to feasibly make an offer to just take the brand and re-launch it.  However, the existing civil rehabilitation will sort the creditors out with the surplus of what is left anyway and it is extremely doubtful anything else can be recovered.  So there is no benefit to creditors apparent in BP getting in on the act and screwing with the ongoing receivership process.

Just for the record I do have a few Goxbux at stake (a handful).  I long ago wrote them off and will be pleased if I do actually get anything back.

West turned toward China due to cheap labor. China benefitted in terms of the Financial and ruined Environment. Now China moving to  Africa due to cheap labor and wanna save the environment in their backyard. In a decade or so Africa will get a benefit financially and my Chinese friends will discuss in zhihu why Africa is so polluted.

Nice one !

China is taking advantage of their power and that's not illegal so it's a good move.
They always have in return for everything they offer.

Yup, actually everyone wants their share of the pie and China wants a big one, nothing wrong with this power struggle if you are on right side otherwise it sucks.
History tells us they are very good at giving "Debt Trap" too in disguise

Win-Win for everyone except the environment.

I would not call it a win-win, I would not allow this if I am Africa.

It was my poor attempt of sarcasm.

to be fair, and assuming its waterproof, the machine learning algorithm might see this as a great learning opportunity about how evolution works.

... I was going to add, it can't really be a proper Machine Learning system if it doesn't test all practical boundaries, including driving directly into walls, jumping over cliffs with a pack of lemmings, and intentionally falling into pits of hot purifying lava.

exactly.

i figure that any devices i design for machine leaning purposes must include extremely high data rate wireless connectivity as i fully expect 99% of them to be destroyed learning various "hold muh beer" scenarios. the last second or so of the data each provides should prove instructive.

Dumped all my ETH for XRP a while back....not that XRP is doing great  Undecided

OMG!!!!!!!

Grin and XRP...

Man my portfolio is literally 99% Bitcoin (random guess but not far from the reality).
You have to dip your toe in a few other markets just incase they moon....maybe....one day.

You know that I was just yanking your chain, but I would not want anyone here to believe that there is any significant endorsement of these various side projects.  I admit that I own a small amount of ETC, ETH, Monero, Litecoin and Bgold (bgold was an airdrop), and yes all of those shitcoins added together are less than 1% value of my total crypto value.  Bitcoin is about 94% and cash (dollars) is about 5%.

By the way, I consider that I own those cryptos as a means to actively monitor various other projects, but I don't really plan to make any money (or BTC off of them).. Although with ETH, at around the time of the possible "flippening" I had a decent amount of speculation that those goofballs just might pump more shit into that shit, so there was a bit of a "money making" conceptualization.
