Hmmm, who are these people buying in the $590s on Stamp? Seems pretty likely we're going to bounce back down off of $600, no?

just ate through that wall, next at 630...

one day people are going to realize these "walls" don't mean shit if the big players don't want them to.  They can make the market look however the hell they want and then send it in whatever direction they please.

Theres just no way that was the bottom after a dump like that  Shocked

It more likely that was the bottom, with this ~4000 Coins Dump.

There's is a good chance for. Bids are filling up quick...

...but who knows?

Just got a message from Elance... everyone seems to be in meltdown mode.

"We are sorry.

Some of our customers continue to experience intermittent delays in receiving Workroom messages to their email accounts. We realize these delays can make it difficult for you and your freelancer to easily communicate. We take this issue very seriously and are doing everything we can to permanently fix this..."

But people don't panic in response.

I think that maybe we have all begun to unrealistically expect too much from technology in general. It still has a long way to go.

Bid-sum wise, there is almost 5k back to 302 again. So yes, definitely good recovery there.

However I am not convinced. I'd rather lose out on profit than lose what I "have" (Gox)

I think the downward plunge is continuing. At least a retest of the 570s or so.

Frankly I would rather see Choo Choo trains and pics of dead bulls and bears on this thread than comments about MtGOX's price...

By the way, I enjoyed this photo gallery that the Financial Times assembled last June:

http://www.ft.com/intl/cms/s/2/910858fa-d3bf-11e2-95d4-00144feab7de.html

And I found this on that article:

"Citing rules designed to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing, the US federal government has seized bank accounts belonging to Mt Gox, the largest Bitcoin exchange, and other exchanges. The Bitcoin Foundation no longer expects Mark Karpeles, Mt Gox chief executive, to travel to the US from Japan for its board meetings."

Should we understand that he fears to be arrested if he put foot on US soil?

ok..noob question...likey a noob question of too much balls and no sense...but if you are thinking like me (this is a panic) and it will bet resolved (tech issues and mtgox issues) and stabilizes...ie you plan on holding

question 1 "can you still buy from mtgox with fiat for bitcoin...or is that shut down" (again I intend to hold till .....even if it goes to $2 beanie baby money....(damn it I'm stubborn) ...so if I plan on holding long term thru this anyway....why not buy on a discount from mtgox (assuming they will let me buy btc yet)

or

question #2 this is a really really dumb idea cause mtgox is gonna go under and default and I'd lose $$$ or btc (from my point of view the whole shebang would probably die btc wise so wtf buy from mtgox anyway

ok be kind I'm  a noob if my ballsy projections are accurate.....(big if) is there anything wrong with the above

again noob...so show me how I'm wrong/right or you just plain have no clue

(this frigging bitcoin sea..no idea where the coast is ..the fog is too think...but waves are large...and I get seasick looking at the price drop on btc ...woe the btc seafarer)
