So Fonzie, did you hit your short targets or are we subject to another bout of your uber-trolling?

insider trading now on gox? pushing the price up

Watch them scooping the cheap coins. IF gox ever allows btc withdrawals, all asks will be pulled, and they will flash "crash" to $1000.

yea this keeps happening... how are they pumping so much money

It could be easy.... they buy the coins on paper, but they never actually have the fiat to transfer that out of Gox to the sellers, because of the delays nobody knows.
So they can wait until they transfer those coins to stamp, cash them out, send the money back into gox and pay for the fiat withdrawals.

poeple are still reporting problems but some say they got there withdrawals, maybe they are manually clearing up the mess, this could take some time

bitstamp is OPEN - WITHDRAWAL just hit blockchain!
not sure how reliable this "rob2360a"... but it looks like there is light at the end of the tunnel

Confirming that Bitstamp withdrawals work. I just had a small test-withdrawal hit the blockchain (in this tx: https://blockchain.info/nl/tx/63ba1435848137853d71bdd88329a243c7017c62d7fd84417570fea44a0c7f98).

I can't believe we still go up or down because of Gox. What's wrong with people.

What does it take to get rid of Gox. How much more fail is needed?

So we got back to 625 and then someone puts up a wall there to make sure we go down again.
What is it with these people? When is it enough? Why the need to just take us down and then down some more? We'll be at 500 soon if this continues. Will people push it down from there on because there will be cheap coins at 300?
And the sheep in the meantime just keep selling because they think that will get their money back.
Really, when is it enough?

All the bears here, is this what you wanted? Are you extremely happy now? Or do we have to go down further? Are you people even buying coins or do you just enjoy the market crashing and everybody losing money?

I just don't understand the logic of constantly pushing down.

Have a cat pic

It goes like this:

Omg no more withdrawels from Gox! I must sell everything i have right now! I'm in total panic! No matter what i need to get rid of my coins asap!
Then the next day: omg someone's buying! I must buy now! Who cares that i can't withdraw! I must get coins!

I'm from Europe and as soon as Mt.Gox accepts withdrawals again, I'm off to Bitstamp.

Gold's continuing it's climb too, this sound money smackdown could be an indicator of something a whole lot bigger about to happen. If gold ramps up fast then its likely on insider info, it could be a really bad time to be holding fiat.
