Facebook’s Libra may not be available for purchase in India

https://www.theblockcrypto.com/tiny/facbooks-libra-crypto-will-not-be-available-in-india-report/

Quote
Facebook’s upcoming cryptocurrency Libra may not be available for purchase in India, according to a report from The Economic Times (ET) on Thursday.

“A person directly in the know,” told the news source that Libra and digital wallet Calibra wouldn’t be available in markets where “cryptocurrencies are banned or Facebook is restricted from operating in.”

I guess you can add China then. Well, that's too bad.

When are we going to stop talking about Libra? It seems everyone gone crazy with this new invention by Mr. Mark.

2021 seems a bit optimistic.

It is written
You will not lure me with your gloomy faux-biblical prognostications into betting you a second time.

Well if you insist, shall we say 2 LTC this time ?

I heard China is banning IOS? They are going to create their own operating system and in a mission to avoid US made products so most possibly they are not going to accept this Libra too.

So I'm thinking this libra nonsense will get heavily regulated, the states would be insane not to. And that will then be used as an excuse to regulate crypto in general, and bitcoin especially. It might be a good time to get around to moving elsewhere for those planning to do so.
Facebook has the money, clout, and kompromat to bulldoze through regulation.

Maxine Waters didn't get the memo.

https://www.cnbc.com/2019/06/18/rep-maxine-waters-facebook-should-stop-work-on-libra-cryptocurrency.html

EDIT: Damnit. Just saw this. Merited.

You think they have Maxine Waters' pee tape?  Shocked

She'll quiet down after they donate enough money to her re-election campaign.  Wink

They already track FB account user data to sell to the ad agencies, retail companies, and government agencies. The next logical step is to link your captured user data to what you routinely spend your money on, and how much of it.

Libra will help them do just that. And that will be perfectly fine with the regulators.

Polo trollbox is back (although not working  Grin). Expect massive pump/dumps of various shitcoins never heard of.

In the meantime, while everyone was occupied with FB shitcoin, the King is on the move again. Stabilizing 1-2% below the year high with a low volume and an icreased bid support is always a sign of an upward breakthrough. The 10K attack is imminent!

2LTC on BTC breaching $100k be net of 2021?

I’m in if so, if I lose I’ll be happy. So win-win.

Quadriga's CEO shown for the fraud he was (is?). Hardly going to come as a shock to many that he was peddling a scam with fake fiat and trading on his personal accounts with customer funds, but it is now officially documented.
