TBH, "breaking" $10k ain't going to be easy. It's a very strong number:

-Back in February/March 2018, it acted as a support.
-From March 2018 to May 2018, it acted as a strong resistance, and BTC was ultimately rejected at near to $10k.
-Psychological resistance (the round number).

My guess is that we're going to stay below $10k for a while (for a couple of months) and then break it. Till then, we'll keep on touching it again and again and face rejections.

12K by Tuesday confirmed
Perhaps.

This feels better than late 2017, so much better.

If we’re at nearly $10,000 eleven months BEFORE the halving what kind of price will we be at a year AFTER the halving?

 Shocked

That pullback from 9920 dollar was so small, I dare not sell in the hope to buy back cheaper. Looks set to break 10k comfortably. Of course, when after that enough longs have been created, a soul-crushing dump will probably bring us back below 10k for one last time......

I was expecting 10k for December 2019.. This is going too fast and too good!!

That thought comes to me everyday.. if this is the start, the moonshoot will be epic.

Wounds from 2017 are starting to heal (kinda)...

If we delay $10k a bit, we may as well read up: https://hackernoon.com/libra-a-cyberpunk-nightmare-in-the-midst-of-crypto-spring-5543b6f6e34b

I remember being out of my mind seeing the price drop from 6k to 3k in what seemed like 2 or 3 days.
I thought my life dreams & expectations were falling to pieces in front of me.

I am a total drama queen though Smiley

He's writing like Libra is some sort of Bitcoin rival that's going to eat its lunch. From all I've read I'm still not seeing it. At all.

And people crowing about it killing shitcoins, until Libra makes you dollars, and it never will, there's no rivalry there either. No one's ever actually going to use a shitcoin for anything.

This is conditional on it ever emerging in the first place in the form they're proposing and I think law makers everywhere realise this is the fight of the millennium.

You don't take this crap seriously, do you?

It's all crypto this and crypto that. When he does actually mention Bitcoin, it's stuck on the end of a list of shitcoins.

He fails to distinguish between decentralized fixed-supply currencies and corporate scams.

What a crock.

We should have gone to 60-80K last time.
Futures killed the run prematurely.
Maybe, to 'compensate', we will go 600-800X this time instead of even lower multiple (32X).

Autism overload.  It's not possible for the price of Bitcoin to go to the moon and not have mining massively expand to match.  Nobody would ever buy an $80k Bitcoin if they can just mine one for $3k cost of production.  But it's not really possible for mining to increase by something like an order of magnitude or it would probably use more power than the entire United States.  In other words, the Bitcoin pump and dump scam is now butting up against the limits of the natural world for how high it can be artificially rigged with Tethers.

It's an interesting argument but you are wrong, and here's why: mining Bitcoin is a function of money and time. You can do the math for yourself but I'd guesstimate that $3k of mining equipment now would take you about a year to get a full Bitcoin, nevermind what it's going to take when the Bitcoin difficulty is exponentially higher years from now.

I think the strong resistance is at 11400, here we could lower 20 or 30%, now the first step is 10K.

If we passed 11700 we would be on the launch ramp. Wink
