Hmm....seems like I'd do that too...If I could get BTC priced at $900 worth of BTC instead of about 1/2 from mt. gox. The fortress folk is just doing this to get 'massive quantities' of BTC at a double price buy as to get by without blowing up the Bitcoin Price on the 'real market'? That is the reason right, or am I missing something obvious instead...and then going to take that 'hoard' and go 'Long Term HODL' as a speculative play? So how legit? is this? I guess maybe it depends on when mt. gox pays you 1/2 of whatever they are offering huh? Soon or next year? anyway, befuddled and wondering Brad

Good overview with interesting insights at how the IRS is trying to tackle crypto holders. I recently got hold of a presentation given to special agents in the IRS Criminal Investigation division that discussed investigating taxpayers who hold crypto. I went through all of the 181 horribly formatted slides (attached for reference haha) and here's what I learned... https://twitter.com/CryptoTaxGirl/status/1148370517415456768good god

I must reveal that this moment feels a bit weird.
We are a bit more than $1k from the All Year High, and there is a kind of feeling that the AYH is right around the corner, that it is a kind of given, that it is currently being tested - even while there remains another $1k to go.
Isn't that strange? As the price gets higher and higher, $1k changes become smaller and smaller percentages, and that quantity of price, just kind of whizzes by. Just today, we already had more than a $1k change in price in the UPwards direction. Go figure.

I suppose once Bitfinex ppl are in jail then they'll need another way to pump it.
My only guess as to how Giancarlo and the rest of the criminal scammers at Bitfinex aren't in jail is that the kikes at Goldman Sachs, US govt, & ESF just use it as a front to rig the price upwards to try and distract people from physical metals and attempt to bait and switch them into a digital only, cashless society, slavery system. Bitfinex is just Enron levels of fraud and there's no way possible it could go on this long without government rubberstamping it.

I went through all of the 181 horribly formatted slides (attached for reference haha) and here's what I learned... https://twitter.com/CryptoTaxGirl/status/1148370517415456768good god Yeah, SEC was called by my bank in 2013 because Bitcoin was 'evil' in 2013, don't ya know. I went thru the above, linked .pdf paper above. I'm legal as hell on mining, etc. Saw nothing that would worry me, unless they start a 'pool' to do random audits out of, ahem, simply crypto returns that is. That would suck! So hell, at least there is that, my own CPA and everything trained since 2013 on the IRS guidelines. They got lots of 'tax $$$' out of my 'legit efforts' So yeah, no issues. But then again, I'm like a 'tame' goat. Never had a chance to run free and break tax laws. This bank fiasco made me legal as hell 5 months after getting into bitcoin mining. So maybe a blessing in disguise, otherwise I'd probably be 'crapping my pants' now. It is 'easy' to be good when you are at one time looked at by the SEC (and found worthy). So what? Whew? Again, looking at above seems to be what I expected the IRS to do and act like. But then again, I was captured and 'tag'd' around May 1st, 2014. (At least they did not 'notch' my ear, like a penned deer) Brad

Hahaha, this thread. You can't jump to the end and you can't keep up! Sometimes you can. No biased or personal comment this time - posting as it is- 25. Lambie not posting much these days. 26. Bones comes and go - makes no noise- 27. reelsteelboy mentioned AYH. some take it as a ATH and discussion is in progress. ivomm try to correct but... 28. New face i guess @wwzsocki, he posts chart too. Witaj bracie v8 watch out for OZ- not talking about the Ashes Sorry bro, not posting much these days bc Im still a bit short term bearish and I dont like spreading negativity too much. I did leave a fun post on poo and golden showers you may have missed My favorite time to post is when things are really bad and everyone needs a strong dose of hopium to get through the day. We got more than enough hopium these days so my services not needed so much. I see I missed some nice milf discussions. If Santa wants to bring me an exotic 50 yr old porn star milf for Christmas I would not object to this one. 205 days into the new Bull Market and all is well.

Yes its strange. I find myself way less sensitive to 1k swings up or down than in 2017. The 10k swings up and down are gonna be the new pants shitters after the halving. 100k party will have a lot of phone checking as we swing up and down in huge increments we arent used to.

Question im my mind is will we get the the 5-7k this summer before the shake out of get rich quick alt boyz and newbs is done or do we start the run to 20k from the 7-9 range.
'Run to $20K' is so 2017. I'm thinking run to $150K. This is why I never have a problem w you Jbreher even when you stir up the pot with the bcash advocacy. At the end of the day you appear to love a good Bitcoin pump as much as anyone I think 100k-300k is easy pz lemon breezy in the next few years, but Im not expecting this summer pump to end anywhere close to that. No complaints if it does.

I tend to agree with filbfilb's two likely scenarios, though they could end up being too conservative.
I'd rather see 175K in 2021 than 100K in 2020, but I don't really have a say in the matter. Hookers, blow, lambos, etc. all around either way.

Is Bitcoin dead again? It's all over. He's kaput. On a serious note, at what price point can hats be replaced for crowns? 50K? Trying to get a jump on 50k here. Not sure how I'm going to get impressions from everyone for these crowns though. Consider this a temporary crown. Avatar-sized

I'll have to take you seriously now after seeing how you identified the baby bull run. LOL please dont(im sure your jk anywayz), that was in jest and in partial realization that the Fed, Trump, the alt boyz and the stock boyz just maybe could take us somewhere absolutely insane this summer like 100k. I give it a 3 percent chance. Baby bull run was for realz though, never had one doubt.

The bitcoin price is once again trading above the $12,000 level, and the current market cycle could take the price to a new all-time high. Morgan Creek Capital Management CEO Mark Yusko was featured on CNBC, where he emphasized that bitcoin is the best-performing asset since October 2018 by a long shot.
“I think we’re in the next parabolic move. That will take us probably into the $30,000 level before we get another little correction.”

On more serious matters, I'm starting to get really pissed off, with seed regulations, phytosanitary certificates, import permits, and motherfucking Greek customs. All I wanted was Princess 77 Bermuda grass seeds ffs & it seems I'm losing this battle. The dickheads now want an import permit to send the certificate (seeds already stuck in customs), which the customs will grant only when they actually have the certificate. @%$^#&%&@%^ Hey buddy. Always thought you lived in Australia or New Zealand with your use of "mate" and "cheers."

Somewhere, deep in the Arrakeen deserts, a thumper begins it's rhythmic beating.
Dune reference spotted. That movie had an interesting premise, and a great video game series developed around it, but much like the book, was a little bit too long for me to make it all the way through it. I do remember that Sting was in it.

I do remember that Sting was in it. The whole story was spanning six books, plus the encyclopedia. However, the thickest one was the first, original "dune" novel. I read through them all, but "dune" was the one i could barely stop reading, i also watched the movie beforehand. epic.
