Damn those nanny-state drivers' licenses. Am I being forced to be responsible for other people's safety? If people don't want to share the road with unlicensed drivers, they should stay home. I work hard at being a safe driver. I resent the deep state questioning my ability to drive safely.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the
subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The
subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

No worries there Jimbo...once self-driving AI is proven by the state to be safer than human drivers, the nanny state will get rid of driver's licenses entirely and no one will be allowed to drive themselves anymore.

Price is sliding down it seems. BTC10k Support. Test it. DO IT
Or as Toxic2040 would say: turtle is dragging an enraged squirrel down a descending triangle mountain... If we break through 11.9k I change my mind. Edit: I really wanna buy at 10k. My fiat is getting nervous. I am getting the FOMOVIRUS. *cough*

Soon you'll need a license to exit your home and walk down the street. Slaves deserve their destiny!

I resent the deep state questioning my ability to drive safely. Sorry Jimbo, the question was regarding health, not safety, and I think there should be a clearer distinction of the two here. #1 Am I responsible for someone else's health? If so, exactly where should we define that jurisdiction?
Safety is still our personal responsibility ie. driving, until it isn't. (I see as Torque has pointing out) I'm not prepared to give my 'personal responsibility of health' over to the state for deciding what's best for me. Besides, they have a terrible track record for actually curing disease.

That might be a good thing. I can't imagine these fondle slab swiping helicopter parented kids these days actually getting behind the wheel of a car. Well at least they will be experts calling it from their tethered device to fetch them on Uber...

The interesting question for me is why was it okay to be maskless before Covid? It's not as if there weren't communicable diseases in society that could kill, such as influenza. Is there some acceptable degree of risk to others where we can do as we please?

A simple SOMA analogy...
Halving #1 (2012) -- Mid-2013 (< 1 year later) was the last time we saw 2-digit prices. Halving #2 (2016) -- Beginning of 2017 (< 1 year later) was the last time we saw 3-digit prices. Halving #3 (2020) -- 2021 (< 1 year later) should be the last time we see 4-digit prices!
HoDL.

Looks like Coinbase just busted... Couldn't handle the ALT spike
The Buddha asks: "If a shitcoin dies in the forest, but no one is around to hear it, did it make a sound?" On the other hand, "if shitcoin goes up 10 fold in one month, it does make a ka-ching sound" btw, I don't have IT, but FOF told me. Feeling a little pancake-y here, but it was and still is my choice.

A pretty good news source has just born: Today marks the third anniversary of the day #SegWit reached lock-in threshold on the #Bitcoin network. Today also marks the launch of the #BTCTimes. The @BTC Times delivers quality reporting of the #Bitcoin news you care about: https://twitter.com/btc/status/1292160378609123329?s=21This news outlet is by om @lopp (one of my fav bitcoiners) @eiaine @LinaSeiche (I am strangely obsessed with her) @AaronvanW ( one of the most knowledgeable journalist in the BTC sphere) @giacomozucco (my fellow Italian bitcoin prophet). Also involved @SatoshiLite @fluffypony @Excellion (Who might have something to disagree with my above obsession) and others...

A pretty good news source has just born:
I'll be interested to see what it comes out with but anything with Samson Mow involved has murdered its objectivity before it was born. He could do with getting a nice job on a fishing boat or something.
