Is this why we've dropped a little do you think? The current price is around what these folks paid per bitcoin.

Buy the rumour, sell the news? Maybe?

Bob, is the "Activity" connected with the post amount? So, if you delete your posts the "Acitivity" will decrease too?  Roll Eyes

Yes. As your posts get deleted, your activity lowers as well... which is kinda ironic, because manually deleting every message you have ever posted on this site is a heck of a lot of activity.

thanks Bob. that changes a lot. but if you want more opsec there is no way around i guess.

Activity and post count are linked but there is another factor, time. Activity is the number of days since the first post on the forum, assuming you post at least once every 14 days (activity period), and assuming you average 1 post/day. Less than 1 post/day, your activity will be equal to your post count. Miss an activity period, you lose the opportunity to get 14 activity.

If Bob continue to post at some point his post count will exceed his activity again.

Trigger Warning: Businesswire

https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20200811005331/en/MicroStrategy-Adopts-Bitcoin-Primary-Treasury-Reserve-Asset

TYSONS CORNER, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MicroStrategy® Incorporated (Nasdaq: MSTR), the largest independent publicly-traded business intelligence company, today announced that it has purchased 21,454 bitcoins at an aggregate purchase price of $250 million, inclusive of fees and expenses. The purchase of Bitcoin cryptocurrency was made pursuant to the two-pronged capital allocation strategy previously announced by the company when it released its second quarter 2020 financial results on July 28, 2020.

<snip>

Seriously tho, how the fk is this company still around? And how do they have $250M in cash just laying around?

MicroStrategy had a huge stock run-up during the Dot Com bubble, but crashed massively thereafter and should have gone completely bankrupt. How they survived when so many other dot coms got wiped out is completely beyond me.

Yes. The bull market really started April 2019. What’s started recently is the early main bull phase, it’s Q4 2016 all over again, but different dynamics and themes at play.

https://twitter.com/woonomic/status/1292837821909090304?s=21

That is something similar to what I have been saying, but of course it is nice to hear credible others make similar assertions, too.

My assertion has been that the bull market started in April 2019, but it was not really confirmed as entering into bullish status until about the middle of May 2019.

What a complete clown you are.

you are exactly half way through a bear market as you well know.  You spend your life on this thread trying to convince noobs you know what you are talking about when you're a shill.

sub 2k is inevitable. but you know this and if you don't, you're a moron. So what is it ? a shill or a moron?  I concede there is a high chance you're both.

Wife update: First day without constantly "mounted" neck support, off the opioids and on mild dose of ibuprofen.
Good development. Luckily, the local physiotherapist had a client that cancelled treatment, so she will be getting therapy way sooner than expected.

Glad to hear it. Smiley

Sounds like a good store of value move to me.

Quote
MicroStrategy has recognized Bitcoin as a legitimate investment asset that can be superior to cash and accordingly has made Bitcoin the principal holding in its treasury reserve strategy

Most likely butthurt .... those who tried to trade BTC market but ended up BTC-less and maybe with small FIAT gained....

Still pity that those guys are salty and bitter..

Instead they should start buying again and hopefully understanding its true potential, even with less BTC, at this stage they can still secure some financial freedom etc
