But it could get worse: The maiden's name of the grandmother of a person from Austria i know in RL was "Silly". She had a brother that burned to serve for the british navy, who finally made it and guess what, returned years later because he couldn't move up career-wise. IMHO, they shouldn't have changed their village's name. It was their original name, it carried historical meaning, it had existed for 800 years, the locals didn't have any issues with it, other than stupid, ignorant, immature foreigners causing trouble and not respecting the region's history and tradition.

Obviously the ground for the current problem has been laid by a mayor of that village some two hundred years ago. Until then it was Fuking, He probably thought it sounds weird and added the 'c' into it. That was no problem until after zombies with interconnected handheld devices went loose around the world and wanted to picture themselves with the sign.
Luckily they didn't notice Oberfucking yet, or even worse "Petting" or "Fickmühlen" (loosely translated "fuck mills").

EDIT: it is a legal movie from Germany. I suppose they love him in spite of everything or because of it?  

To be very precise, the movie was based on a book. Bought a German version of it in Munich a few years ago. Quite hilarious.



I was there during the movie's world premiere, but I haven't actually seen it myself. I believe it's a Borat-style kind of movie: partly hidden camera pranks, partly acting.
