Flip the chart, with dollars on the horizontal axis (log scale) and time on the vertical axis.  You get a parabola.

can also be expressed as
days = 113.347*(log(usd)+1.699)^2

Continued messages from the fringe that the money printing won't stop in 2021 (to the contrary).

Quote
Translation: buy everything ahead of an unprecedented dollar devaluation orgy.

2021 is gonna be a beautiful Bitcoin year.

Edit: some more words on the Guggenheim story.

Yep.

First step in understanding a massively volatile commodity is to find a smooth, monotonic trend, if possible.
In fact, the massive booms and bear markets are responses to the halving step function, superposed on the steady state (for lack of a better term) expressed in the quadratic.  I have it worked out, it just takes time to create the charts.  Stay tuned.

-------
some evening charts

Bulls have managed to hammer out a respectable long legged doji'ish candle with the close of this weeks session. The move puts team green back on the offensive with trading currently around $18.4kish.

Structuring is the practice of conducting financial transactions in a specific pattern calculated to avoid the creation of certain records and reports required by the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and/or IRC 6050I, Returns relating to cash received in trade or business, etc. (Form 8300, Report of Cash Payments Over $10,000 Received in a Trade or Business)
https://www.irs.gov/irm/part4/irm_04-026-013

It's also related to smurfing: explanation

in crypto universe, some innocuous action could look suspicious. For example, if your withdrawal limit is $7000 (just some random number below $10K), but you want to withdraw 35K, you would have to break that 35K in several pieces, which looks like structuring or smurfing, but in fact it is just an innocent person trying to withdraw a chunk that is much bigger than his limit.

Therefore, I always say: increase your limits. Do it now and not in the middle of the blowoff top-it might be too late then.
The only question is-what is realistically achievable? Perhaps, making your daily limit equal to your yearly income is something to ask for.
Of course, if you keep the bunch on the exchange, they will (or, rather, should, if you ask) give you a daily limit at least equal to that.

yeah thats why i try to do minimum 10k withdrawals, if im gonna raise a flag it might as well be nice and bright. so i do try to plan ahead. of course i do take smaller bits off the top here and there for toys or whatever but i figure as long as i do 10k+ enough to show im not trying to hide i dont worry about it.

coinbase raised my daily limit several times without me asking, im not sure its related to the amounts ive cashed out, the balance that i keep there or something they just do every couple years.

obligatory not your keys etc

Streak on!!

Still going strong If and only if we close out well on the 30th of Nov

we have a month of purity spent over 13,500

I wonder what we do tomorrow and the 31 days in December.

Key days

Nov 30 ------- first month entirely over 13,500
Dec 31 -------- don't know but if we do better in December than we did in Nov it would be very nice.

Jan 20 --------- Joe Biden takes over? By the way he needed to go to emergency care today (no joke) hmmm this could be very interesting.

although i think JJG mentioned he thought he and i were the same person, or something along those lines. so theres that

I feel as if I am looking in a mirror.   Cry Cry Cry

Edit:  Seeming difficult to suggest down before up, in these times.... You never know, though, but I just observed $18,638 within the past 5 minutes.

There may be some WO peeps pumping the BTC price towards ATH because they want their poll vote to be correct for November.. but we ONLy have 18 hours before the November (monthly) candle closes.  Need another $1,028 (about 5%-ish  - the orderbook wall on bitstamp is showing only 518 BTC for sale at the time of this post)... Surely, possible, but will it happen?
