Anybody got any guesses when we’ll power through $20,000? Seems a lot of resistance & willingness to sell around $19,500+

some TAs predict that bitcoin will pierce through $20000 in the next 2 days.

Good morning fellow bitcorners.

Observing BTC finding that $19k number again.  Seems to be the badgers new favorite number.

Too early to conclude that there is "a lot of resistance" at $20k... we have only been testing this area for about 6 days-ish...

Seems to me that we could characterize the BTC price dynamics of the last 6 days as an attempt to allow the buying support to catch up to current prices.

Maybe a week-ish around these price points, at most?

Of course, breaking above (or either way) could take place in less time than a week, so difficult to really gauge with any kind of exactness.. even though the longer that we hang out in these here price point parts without any kind of meaningful correction of greater than 25% causes me to believe that such correction of greater than 25% is becoming less likely to happen (even though anything "could" happen, when it comes to btc).

(in other words, I have no fucking clue)

Think of the average American. 50% of them are dumber than that.
I think it's not only the Americans but the entire world who are dumber than we think or how would this current currency system even exists? There are no backing but print as much as you can LOL

Actually I had two surprise today. One is Bossian paid LFC and another one is rdbase pissed me off by deleting one of my post in his self moderated thread. I would not care if that was just another self moderated thread about the user only but that self moderated thread is something for a little community and I always considered a part of that community.

What was the post and the thread?  Almost anything goes here, if there is some relevance to something that is NOT pumping or shilling a shitcoin.
It's not about pumping or shilling a shitcoin but it's about a wanna be noob who suddenly got too much attention after giving him some responsibility. It's here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5296647.0

Not even long ago he used to PM me asking this and that or shared this post or that posts in PM which were kind of annoying to think that why me! I always responded him with my answers with this intention to nurse someone who wants to talk to you . But now it seems he built up a good reputation (although there are some questions posted by a user) and forgot his past. Now he thinks he become some heavy head post moderator. This is what you get when you nurse the wrong guy.

I have not forgot, observing @ $19,080

You cannot really stop the deletion of posts in self-moderated threads - part of the reason that I mostly do not participate in self-moderated threads (outside of the wall observer) - unless i have some confidence in OP... However, once any of my posts get deleted in a self-moderated thread, I discontinue participating (outside of the wall observer, again).

Another thing is that if some kind of relationship that I have on the interwebs starts to go down the path of interpersonal squabbles, I try NOT to take those matters personally or to get emotional about such interactions.

Of course, if we are human, there is going to be some emotionality, but there still are best practices to keep the emotion out of such interactions - and sure some members are going to build more and more reputation - even if you do not believe in such... so in the end, you would need to consider the extent that it is to your advantage to be engaging in battles with those members... sure call them out from time to time... I am not opposed to that.; but there still should be some balance in terms of whether you are  allowing these interactions to cause you to get worked up or distracted.

By the way, I probably did not really want to hear about some of these details (even though I asked), but I also have a kind of preference that if you mention anything at all then you should provide some evidence (maybe not nullius levels of evidence but some reasonable level of evidence) to back up what you have said... so at least the reader gets the reference.

I saw the continuation of the letter from the future

I am Aaron Magnotta son of Luca Magnotta and I am writing to you from 2029.
My father Luca Magnotta was killed by the security services in 2026 during an attempt to capture a closed nuclear power plant, all his attempts
to do anything with bitcoin did not lead to anything, one bitcoin is now worth a huge fortune of millions of dollars, even the owners of bitcoin shares live in luxury.
In 2023, on the wave of success, the Ethereum cryptocurrency fell sharply - this was due to the exposure of Vitalik Buterin and his team-Buterin steel
invited to various shows and programs at the peak of the global success of Ethereum and its platform, and experienced experts realized that Buterin could
not create anything like this at such a young age. After investigations,it became known that Ethereum was created by hundreds of experienced programmers under the full control of the special services of the World Government, Ethereum was created in case of the collapse of bitcoin and its replacement, as well as for covert surveillance of users of this cryptocurrency.
Many bitcoin critics and owners of gold and precious stones began to buy bitcoin Gold BTG cryptocurrency in 2022 .in my time, the owners of at least one Bitcoin Gold are rich and live in BTG citadels far from major cities. Also, a fortune is now worth in our time cryptocurrency TerraNova, it deserved
such a price due to its uniqueness-the impossibility of hacking, tracking and deanonymization of the user, initially it included special codes
thanks to which it began to grow at a furious pace, back in 2017 it also grew quickly and powerfully, but the World Government hired hackers and they
hacked The Cryptopia exchange in 2019, since there was a TerraNova cryptocurrency and thereby gradually brought down its value and value, but in our time 1 coin
Terranova is very expensive and you can buy a sports car for it, but it is not widely distributed worldwide and it is mainly used
in European countries. In 2027, hackers from Estonia created software that allows you to completely deanimate users of most cryptocurrencies
when transferring to other accounts. after that, Ledger released special server mix crypto wallets that gave this software
false information.

In 2028, server-side mixing technology has been applied to other wallets and systems, but there is no complete guarantee against complete anonymization yet.
Nowadays, there are hundreds of citadel cities on the Planet-where cryptocurrency owners live, now there are developments in the construction of such cities at the South and North Poles, cities are being built in Iceland,Greenland and Northern Russia. In 2028, hackers from Russia created a program that is able to find disconnected old hard drives with bitcoins when they are connected to the computer by the user - it is able to destroy this disk, transfer all the information by copying it remotely and determine the exact location of the owner - all this became possible due to the fact that hard drives of those years before 2024 had no protection and had open databases on which the program could find and copy them. Also in my time huge fortunes are land plots near the city with access to water - water is more expensive and in Africa and Asia, many people are dying of dehydration, and Albania has serious problems with drinking water in Europe.Unlike his father
I do not call for destroying anything and I live in the Citadel and I want to say that everyone who tried to destroy cryptocurrencies is now dead or in prison.

Very creative! theymos please drop me some source merit :-D

I already gave up on that self moderated thread and also gave up on the thread I created yesterday so yes I am too not bothered to have talk back and forth to a self moderated thread (except in WO) if I do not get the respect I feel I deserve.

What details you are asking, the number of unnecessary PMs he used to sent before to build up a good connection? I think since I am not bothered anymore so it's not necessary however here are some snapshots

So sideways it is. hmm

 July 1 2020. price 11,817
Aug 31 2020 price  11,923

a 60  day bart

we then tanked about 15% to 10,160 on sept 2020 then slowly moved upwards 45 days to oct 16 2020 then took off

would be nice to see a 60 day bart nov 30 to Jan 29 at the 19000 range.

then a dump then a strong move up
