Grayscale is starting to feel like quite a large single point of failure
One or multiple ETFs will take care of this. The only potential problem is that rapidly growing Grayscale would lobby against such ETFs. I have a feeling that they were (at least partially) behind the pushback on ETFs.

BTC just sitting there, chilled AF @ $19,000. Low volatility, being here just feels natural, no plebs FOMO’ing in. This bull run hasn’t even started properly yet. We’re hitting 6 digits next year, I’m certain of it.

They are not the only one. We have multiple single poi.. oh nevermind. But Chamath own a Satoshi amount of bitcoin, and therefore is rooting for the global collapse we are in the middle of. He's another one of those seingle points. As are a few of us here. I, for one, hope to have a whole bitcoin before the end of next year.

No need to protect Bitcoin from anyone. Fiat needs protection (and big fucking printers), not Bitcoin. See, Bitcoin's code is its protection (math & science). No points of failure found so far. Every time I hear someone saying "this could be bad for Bitcoin", I say "bring it on!" Where is jbreher? proudhon? r0ach? kwukduck? And where the fugg is mindrust? We’re hitting 6 digits next year, I’m certain of it.
Well, I'd bet on it with you, but we're on the same side...

Why didn't you buy a whole one for $14 on July 23, 2011 when you registered here? Did a bear put you off?

The only way to keep your sanity during Bitcoin's path to 6+ digits is the following (either, or): 1. You've never owned Bitcoin (most people). 2. You're a Bitcoin HoDLer (smart people). Having bought Bitcoin and subsequently sold it, is a sure path to insanity and/or suicide...

The dog ate my old hat, and it took more than expected to have a duplicate made, and my grandma is quite unwell, and I was snowed in, uh and uh... OK cut the bullshit, man. Basically I'm still catching up. I'll ask Homer the Hatter when I feel he's not too busy. Serious.

bitcoin (or any truly hard money) is indeed a harsh mistress. think of all those poor souls who have once hodled bitcoin lovingly and felt the warm glow on their faces of daily rising prices, only to go through terrifying dumps and then sodled at the lows ... and have to watch her go away and cavort and shine her warm glow freely upon others?! or the truly poor bastards who bought at the top, only ever got dumped on and treated terribly by her but hedled on for dear life, only to give up in the harsh cold winters of no smiles, or even a sideways glance, she can be a real cold bitch ... then they left and she goes on to play the field with any schmuck idiot wank who is out there I may have covered them all but anyone who sold bitcoin in the past will always be behind once she starts daily hitting those juicy all time highs again ... they will always be heart-broken, the only way to be sated is to be slavishly loyal, by not selling her out, until a truly better deal comes along. heartless bitchoin but you luv her

The frankenstrat pattern is making visibility difficult. Can anyone make it out? Before shrinking to avatar size: WOW!!! Without even asking!!! I'm catching up slowly, xhomerx10 - that's the only reason why I didn't notice your beautiful creation earlier! Pretty vivid colors, and a fancy fashion mask too!! I *LOVE* it Wearing it immediately. I think I'll only need a new one after an ATH above 20k. ...hmm, what? Who talked from back there? Is that really tomorrow? Time for a new hat Fifteen thousand feels so stale Thanks, Hatter Homer #haiku

I remember the good ole days, LFC, when your plan was to sell all your corns at $50k.... My how times change. ..... He's another one of those seingle points. As are a few of us here. Speak 4 ur self... BIG boy. And where the fugg is mindrust?
Mindrust is engaged in god's work out there in other parts of this here forum - posting about his hopenings regarding bitcoin's inevitable crashenings. Sucks for us BTC HODLers - when such inevitable crash comes - especially for us who bought more coyns or HODL'd the vast majority of our coyns in the $4ks, $5ks and $6ks this past March.. rather than SODLd the majority and refused to buy back, except a fraction of our HODLings. ... also going to suck when we have to suffer in a crash from somewhere in $200ks to 350k back into the 5 digit realm.. when we were hopening for $1million. ...
I, for one, hope to have a whole bitcoin before the end of next year.
Why didn't you buy a whole one for $14 on July 23, 2011 when you registered here? Did a bear put you off? Likely, he got FUDded out.. .thinking that $14 was a bubble.. That's the ways of bitcoin... peeps getting FUDded out all the time, including WO peeps...
