Today is Wednesday that is among the best days of week to trade bitcoin. - Monday, Thursday and Wednesday probably best days to trade every week.
- Friday, Saturday and Sunday are less volatile days and this fact somewhat is reflected with lower transaction fees on the network. As I pointed out the weekend effects
- Those statements are true for ranks based on either median or interquartile range (iqr) -- on plots, iqr is represented by the Green box.
- Pay attention on whiskers (outside boxes). Monday and Thursday have biggest gaps between whiskers. If you are good at tradings, you can take advantage of such
- Of course, bullish and bearish market can have a bit difference and don't let you are obsessed with statistics.

Some people say $19,754 was the ATH according to the different exchanges, But I like to go with gemini's who had it pegged at $19,999. Today just might be the day of breaking the CMC one of just over $20k $19,899 not to far off. Just a matter of hours cause Christmas is around the corner so that miracle is bound to happen soon!

as one who was late to the WO party, and at the risk of being seen as even stupider than i actually am, why it it bitstamp for the official WO price? be gentle on me im having a bad day with everyone explaining all my mistakes with exchanges *sniff*actually i do like being proven wrong, who wants to go through life with erroneous information? keep those corrections to my mindset coming. although my paying attention is pretty hit and miss.

It used to be MtGox, but we all know how that ended..
I think people picked up Bitstamp after that as it had the longest continuous trading history of all the exchanges

It's the oldest still running exchange and, most importantly, it doesn't allow leverage so it doesn't have those liquidation local flash spikes that others do (looking at Bitmex/Bitfinex and even Kraken here). All in all, it is the most solid/honest/real market price.

makes sense. right when i got into bitcoin in 2011 i joined mtgox. only for it have its database hacked like seemingly weeks later. and then the real hack with the shutdown and trapped coin of course. fun times. teh mtgox fiasco was almost a main reason why i stuck around mining back then. any project this wild could be onto something. drama on a scale id never been involved with before. and with (a small amount) of skin in the game it made it kinda fun.
