Ya'know, for someone who thinks Bitcoin is a complete scam and not worth mentioning, Peter Schiff sure does have a lot to say about the current price action.

It's literally pathetic.

It turns out in the end Bitcoin is his worst nightmare.  He will be remembered as a fool, Bitcoin will diminish the value of his gold. He will have missed the opportunity of a lifetime.

Thing is he is already rich as heel seemingly.  So whatever.  More for us.

Still have a few years (maybe after next halving) to achieve 400 ounce gold ingot parity.

Unless McAfee was right.

You already got 1 BTC = 30000 CAD at $23303. That's not bad, next up is 1 BTC = 40000 CAD.

Btw, poor mindrust... his $40000 stash would reach quarter of a million today... Grin

Yep.. giving numbers makes the idea concrete.. and worth an additional $17.5k since you made that post, serveria, at around $267,500-ish.

But, yeah, who needs $227,500 in profits?  He did get his one bitcoin, so he does have $26,750 in bitcoin value right now, so he is nearly at his $40k with just one bitcoin... and plus he has $34k in cash that he likely invested into shitcoins.. So there is that angle.

I really cant tell if it's just like 16/17 after the $1200 ATH and we kept going until 20k... Or are we going too fast right now and will crash hard?

Sure there is some rhyming going on that seems to be part of the current and the most convincing of the BTC price prediction models... that is stock to flow, four year fractal and s-curve exponential adoption based on metcalfe principles and networking effects.

Sure it could go up and down within those patterns but we are not really greatly outside of expectations even if many of us happen to be feeling bullish and cccccittttteee about the whole situation playing out.

That time $100 jumps were huge and became normal later. Is it the same with $1000 this time? If some has 100 bitcoins he could make sometimes 100k a day just by selling the top and catching the dip and rinse and repeat...

That would be pretty fucking dumb to be playing around with making BIG trades during a process like this, and surely one way to make almost guaranteed money (and profits) turn into losses.  Have fun staying poor if you are going to fuck around with those kinds of attempts to outsmart our current and ongoing UPpity.    Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes     Tongue

When Page parity??
30/12/2020 my guess

My next sell order is around the neighborhood of page parity.. go figure?

My sell orders have been getting spread out a lot and they are very small proportions of my stash, but they still have been adding up to a quite a bit of fiat.. so the way things had been going today, it seems that page parity could be reached any day or it might not come until 12/30 - as you are predicting... who knows?  who knows?

Apparently you know, fillippone.. . Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

 Tongue Tongue Tongue

Too fast? You really think if the blowoff top is say $400k we're going too fast? Even if it's only $200k I don't think we're going too fast... prepare yourself for a face-melting rally...  Cool

Too fast because of the numbers we are currently dealing with are very high! Like said, sometimes we have 1k jumps and dumps a day. Thats massive amount of money. I also believe we will see six digits. Maybe end of 2021. Yet it sounds so unreal to me.

Fuck the high numbers.. who cares?

Think about percentages rather than raw numbers.  You are getting distracted with nonsense if you are getting caught up with raw numbers, just like dipshits believe that bitcoin is overvalued because they see some shitcoin with a lower unit cost and they suddenly believe that such shitcoin is more valuable than bitcoin and has more pumpamentals blah blah blah based on its lower than bitcoin unit price.  Nonsense.

BTC will be worth more than all of these combined.

others are centralized assets whereas BTCitcoin is not, BTCitcoin is much more amazing than others..

Seems to me that Paashaas has already more than recognized your point, Chrystora123, in his assertion that bitcoin is going to be worth the value of all of those companies combined.. which surely seems to be a fair point, even though it could take more than one more cycle to play out.. If BTC prices were to reach $400k or $500k in the next year or year and a half, which seems to be within expectations for this particular cycle, then the size of bitcoin's market cap would actually be getting close to the $10trillion, which would be worth more than all of those other top companies at their current values... but the values of those companies might increase in size during such cycle, too...

25000 USD, incredible really. I never thought such a rise was possible so soon. It looks realistic now to see 100,000 USD for one bitcoin at some stage of 2021. This is beyond my wildest dreams.
For some stage of 2021, is still a wild dream. But for the next 3-4 years, it will most likely come true.

If you have not gotten the memo, bitcoin is not on a 3-4 year schedule.. (in udder wurds, king daddy no doesn't work like dat)

We are talking 2021.. or maybe it could bleed into 2022.. but going beyond that seems to be out of dee character of dee asset class that is otherwise known as honey badger.. NOT saying that your suggestion might not end up playing out like that, but does not seem likely.. seems like a low ass probability to be playing out like you describe, so why should we be even suggesting such a scenario that is amongst the lowest of likelihoods..

In udder words, at this point 2022, seems to be a stretch in terms of dragging out whatever our top for this cycle might happen to end up being.

$26000 just happened on Binance. Like this we will get to $31000 by end of the year. I just hope then we will not drop to $1000 n the first.    Grin
Now we are already 30% above 2017 ATH. Not sure if there is a way back probable anymore.

Have you even been paying attention?  What does 2017 ATH have to do with anything?  We are on a new cycle.. .

helrow?Huh

A sobering note. Some self-appointed gurus note that the volume is low, even for the weekend, so this might look like a local top. I say: it would make sense for the badger to take a breather even if we know he don't care. On the other hand, in the weekend - and especially on Boxing Day - institutional investors are supposed to be sitting on their hands.

Well I guess we'll see soon enough. Local top or not, the mid term scenario doesn't change all that much  Wink

hahahahahaha

You are starting to come off as more optimistic d_eddie?   Wink

Remember 2018 and early 2019.. you were so depressed, and even our April 1, to June 27, 2019 pumpening ONLY just barely cheered you up.  Tongue
