I think that fourth law that R Daneel came up with all by himself (protect humanity) is a bit too PC for my taste but it works well in the books.
I have to reread those books. Isn't R Daneel the emperors gardener or something on Trantor?
the zeroth law? it did work out in the series. cant remember if R Daneel was the gardener though, thought he was an adviser of some sort. time to re read some stuff. got a bit of a backlog right now. Didn't he have some kind of mental power to nudge people in (what he perceived as) the right direction for humanity? Or am I confusing that with some other books? possibly as there was a robot in the robot series that could do that. had to be very very light touch in a direction the person was already inclined as there was the fear of messing the person up bigly. but im not sure if that was R Daneel or his sidekick robot.. forgot its name. there was The Mule of course but that was really the Foundation series even though eventually the robot and Foundation books were tied together.

... Warren Buffett...
I like reading the materials of Buffet and Munger. There is much practical wisdom in their writings. But you are completely right: they are humans as well with the faults that come with being human. My first concern with Buffet started when he made the Citigroup deal during the GFC in 2008/2009. That was a clear indication that he was banking on a full government bailout. Not so much capitalism but profits on the back of the tax payer (I admit I don't know how the deal turned out for him). The second (affirmative) thing was the 'rat poison' quote. That was a clear miss. His later messages were more nuanced ('perhaps not understanding new digital things that good'). The latest gaffe seems to be the purchase of airline stocks (dying already before COVID) and some other stuff. He sold it I believe at near rock bottom again. Anyway, good reads and has my respect but no Oracle in the sense that he also has hits and misses. ...
My only regret now is that we may never know his true identity (Satoshi).
...
I think this is one of the best things about Bitcoin. No leader, no (SEC) attack, no phone number. Couldn't be better and wishing to know Satoshi is asking for the Trojan Horse to come in. DON'T

$28,800
I just saw it. It is a pleasure to see the price when it's about to beat ATH again, keep looking for about 15 minutes every now and then and finally it beats it. It has bounced down after hitting the $28,500 zone several times today but once it's broken, we'll see where it goes. It won't be long before the $30k my friends!

Nice they are following Norway's move. But they didn't actively buy btc, did they? If I recall correctly, The Norway Oil Fund owns some shares of MicroStrategy, which indirectly makes them exposed to btc. I read somewhere they purchased 2 usd worth per person (2x5million = 10 mill usd) when it was 20k so that is now 14million. I think it is part of government pension funds for Norwegian citizens.

People don’t seem to be very friendly/social here though.. (Vegas)
They are not, they consider outsiders to all be marks, Reno on the other hand is fucking awesome. Joke is on them though.. I’m taking THEIR money home with me, even better yet, their tax money, lol.. Lots of it too.. They are paying me something close to $70 an hour plus per diem, and for my stay at this nice Hilton, and my absolutely beautiful 3 day drive here and back.. Vegas is MY mark Suckers..

Yeah, maybe I'm confusing one robot for another. The mule wasn't a robot though. But now I know that he was called the mule, in the Swedish books he is called "Mulan", (meaning "the mule") and I never new if that was just a weird future space name or if it actually meant "the mule", now I know.
