Sometimes governments seem to forget who's the employer (taxpayers) and who's the employees (politicians and civil servants).

Don't you just hate insubordinate employees?

They're not our employees if we can't really fire them. It's like if you wanted to fire inept Joe from sales but your only options for his replacement would be his equally inept cousin Jim and his corrupt sister Mavis. Also you are never allowed to abolish Joe's job position. Also Joe is allowed to impose rules on you and if you fail to comply, you are fined and locked up. Neither Jim nor Mavis will ever abolish any of the rules Joe established. Calling them your "employees" sounds delusional.

I learned 8 years ago that the "B" is only capitalized when referring to the protocol or the currency as a whole. It is not capitalized when referring to an actual unit. The "S" in Satoshi is only capitalized when referring to Bitcoin's creator, not the unit.

i.e. "The smallest unit of Bitcoin is the satoshi which is one one-hundred-millionth of a bitcoin".

Capitalizing the "C" is almost as moronic as making it into 2 words... "Bit Coin".

I learned 8 years ago that if some article talks about "BitCoin" you can stop reading immediately.

Off-topic: Bitcoin coiling up to break through 30K. 2 months ago we were barely over 10K. And everything points toward this being just the beginning of the Bull. What a time to be alive.
Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I am amused that we have made a new ATH of $29,700 and no one seems to have noticed.  Including myself.
You are right but now we are at $29300 hopefully now next stop is $30K very quickly coming.

Just squeeze your butt cheeks tight and pray the tether train keeps chooching.

Yeah.. right..    Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Why don't you, sAt0sHiFanClub, go back to your little altcoin corner or reddit to spout out your ill-informed scare-mongering nonsense.

...BitCoin...

Learn how to spell, you fucking twat... referring to you, hv_.

You have been in the bitcoin space long enough to know that only diptwats capitalize the "C" in bitcoin.. either you capitalize the "B" or you do not, the "C" is not capitalized.

"Bit Coin".

It's Bit Corn not Bit Coin, and it comes in shares, not satoshis.

shares? I would of figured kernels

regarding exchange ban attack on monero: usually i dont have any mercy with any shitcoin. usually "crypto" folks claiming "but... we are in the same boat" when under attack, i tell them to fuck off right away.   regarding monero i think there is a difference and bitcoiners should care about monero. privacy should always be defended.

Longer fight at $30k.... this mark seems to be mucho mucho importante for bears...  Grin

Observing beartard walls building up at $30k since yesterday.
 Huh
What in the world would make somebody willingly LOSE money by selling bitcoin at the start of a bull market?

Isn't the chinese new year starting out a little later than in the rest of the world?
Maybe it's selling because of upcoming taxation?
I admit, i have no knowledge of china's tax sytem, might as well be a bullshit idea from my selfie  Grin

Isn't the chinese new year starting out a little later than in the rest of the world?

February 12... Year of the Ox.

That's like "The Year if the Bull".... a very bullish year.

An Ox is just a castrated (i.e. Communist  Smiley ) bull.

In the traditional world, good investors sell near highs and buy near lows. These are assets at market saturation.

With technology gaining adoption, the VC strategy is to buy successive rounds at ever increasing highs, they don't invest in down rounds.

Treat BTC as the latter
