I just looked at the charts for that thing. Mathematically on some trading, it is sound. I guess if I would invest in it, I would do just when there is like some sort of 'emotional pump' that people buy into the hype and they might involve some time & money for the 'seasonality' of it. Smiley

Izi man.... I'm just gambling. Smiley

Many of us have figured out various strategies in regards to bitcoin in which we do not consider what we are doing to be gambling, but instead investing.

Sure there are some that take a gambling approach, and such gambling approach can be good if it is a decently small portion of your overall value.. there are a lot of ways to structure in order to minimize the gambling component - though yeah some guys are addicts.. so what you gonna do about the addicts, except attempt to channel their energies to some degree.

By the way, last nights little pump of about $6,630 from $31,990 to $38,620 had a little bit of a fake out before it took off, and I was sleeping during that time, but I had several sell orders fill and then I suppose my wakening was sufficiently in-time so that I pretty much bought back most of what I had sold - those kinds of large and quick BTC price movements and then reversals tend to be profitable events and hardly seem to have any risk in the way that I have them structured.  It's like receiving free money (maybe free bitcoins and free dollars in the way that I have them structured, even though in the end there is a bit of an error in my own way of structuring on the side of stacking sats rather than dollars).

Yeah, when I just started selling around $250 in late 2015, my BTC sell orders were so damned small in dollar terms (even though they involved greater amounts of bitcoin -relatively speaking), but these days, even though I am selling a way less portion of bitcoin, the dollar values are way greater than they were in 2015, but the filling of orders just end up involving stacking sats, and like I said hardly even feeling like I am really putting much of anything at risk - just a bit of time to reset my buy/sell orders on the opposite end once orders are filled... so if sell orders are filled, then I just set the buy orders, and if buy orders are filled, I just spend a bit of time setting the sell orders.

Easy-peasy... doesn't involve getting distracted by shitcoins either.. but hey.. some peeps seem to enjoy getting distracted, no?

By the way, in 2015, I had a friend that was watching what I was doing in regards to my buy/sell orders and the quantities of the orders, and she thought that I was wasting my time with such paultery orders - and I continued to suggest that it was practice and the amounts were likely to go up fairly considerably with the rise of the bitcoin price - so you can imagine that the practicing of the same system is largely the same damned thing for me, but currently, the BTC price happens to be around 132x greater.. (so there is some kind of naturalness that allows the stakes to move higher but not really putting at risk any greater quantities - in terms of percentages of the total stash).

Also... "various strategies" ... Cheesy Cheesy ... Good one! Smiley ... Holding is not enough, we all need to gamble from time to time with small amounts. But, no leverage, I don't agree with that kind of gambling. But learning how to trade plain and boring 1:1 ratio is a good gambling practice. Smiley  Roll Eyes

Linus from LinusTechTips committed to 5x'ing the donations he got from his Live WAN Show today. He got $10k worth of donations in less than an hour so he has now committed to buying $50k worth of GME, knowing full well that GME is pretty high right now, and just wants to stick it to the man.

Mannn....he called his wife on stream to inform her, and it was a bit rough lol. But gotta hand it to the guy.
The call alone is worth the watch tho.

Good Morning... BTC at 33k Basically no resistents on the way down... What a fuckery fuck... With this, we don't see 40k soon. No breakout at all. I wouldn't wonder, when we went next under 30k because nobody cared about the 34,5k as a support, after we went through it.
Let see what the Feb has to offer.

Good morning WOers! What a wonderful Saturday morning. Winter, but a sunny and super-bright day. Enjoying my morning coffee, watching the price at $34k and feeling totally free and able to do virtually anything I ever wished for.

No GME for me. No DOGE. Too much hassle. When you have enough King Daddy, you stick to the King.

Thank you Bitcoin.

Onwards & upwards.

HoDL.

I see recovery from the "sharkfin" pump.
Trajectory went steeper, back to #hodl.
Squeezed a low percentage of Bitcoin out of recent shitcoin pump'n dump.
This is fine  Wink

Sweet sugarbear #very-super-homo-only-for-you, I am hodling.(maybe even longer than you, who knows) I did sold once a little amount for a sad price to buy a new car for my dad (2018). I will never be a no coiner. But I want an Urus and this fuckery fuck from yesterday hurt my hodler feelings. Yes, I can express my feelings about that. There was basically no support when we went down. Which is sad, because I hoped for a 40k...

So my sweet sweet sugar bear (double extra super Homo for you only)... My target is moon, as yours. But the bulls disappoint me yesterday. I would be so nice to stay above the resistence (34,5k), so moon will be near, but the bull have failed this chance. So I am. No enthusiastic about 40k and moon, soon.

I will always HODL (with a little selling for some luxary stuff, like houses or an Urus)... But yesterday hurt my feelings.

So busy on belly extra homo only for you.

After all these years, guy still makes me think of Francisco d'Anconia. And after all these years, still not sure if that's a good or a bad thing.

We need more people like Elon Musk.
The world would be a better place if there were more like him.

This is regardless of his stance on Bitcoin.

still an another prove that mindrust didn't understand the bigger picture or don't care about it.  Roll Eyes

he deserves to be a NOCOINER.

The hedge funds that shorted the stock to a technically unsustainable level are getting what they deserve. However, the same goes for the idiots who are still buying the stock. GME isn't worth $400 a share and in all likelihood will never be worth $400 a share.  A collapse is all but guaranteed.  Right now there is still to much hype driving the buy side, but this will lose momentum over time for the simple fact that people sitting on huge paper gains can't realize them without selling. Just as the buildup gained momentum, eventually the opposite will happen and the collapse will build momentum.  One thing remains invariably true- anyone who loses money trading this absolutely deserves it.

If I had a RH account right now i would short the fuck out of that stock. I don't give af if that's a riot against the hedge funds or the financial system. That screams free money. They were aiming for $300-500 at first and then they started screaming $1000 lately i see them if they want to pump this to $60k because they calculated the whole wall street would go bust if they do so. What kind of drugs are they taking again?

If they want to wreck the wall street why don't they long gold? If all those people were longing gold instead that would cause much more harm.

As you said the company is initially worthless. Even if they pump it to $100k eventually it will return to 0.

That's BS. He pointed out how heavily shorted bitcoin is.
It's a 50% chance that we can all thank him, later.
How can he held responsible for pump&dump twitter twatters who blindly follow a one line tweet?

Quote
LONDON (Reuters) - Short-sellers are sitting on estimated losses of $70.87 billion from their short positions in U.S. companies so far this year, data from financial data analytics firm Ortex showed on Thursday.

The hefty losses come as shares of highly-shorted GameStop jumped more than 1,000% in the past week without a clear business reason, forcing short-sellers to buy back into the stock to cover potential losses -- defined as a short-squeeze -- while retail investors then piled in to benefit from the surge.

Tweet of one person can shake the whole crypto Market, isn't bad for BTC adoption on mass scale?
