And I have known all along that this would be the likely way it went, and it has always been sobering. But here on the eve of it all... more than sobering. My wife and I were talking about future diversification and possible changes to US tax laws, strategies etc. And the shifting environment makes those plans risk becoming obsolete fairly quickly. That too is unsettling. I am an optimist by nature so feeling this uneasiness right at the moment that it's becoming "inevitable, in hindsight" just feels wrong. |
