imgur uploads occasionally fail. I need to add error checking but it doesn't happen often. Just got unlucky two in a row.

https://www.seattlepi.com/news/article/Down-Under-criminals-tricked-into-using-FBI-run-16231906.php" THE HAGUE, Netherlands (AP) — Criminal gangs divulged plans for moving drug shipments and carrying out killings on a messaging app secretly run by the FBI, law enforcement agencies said Tuesday, as they unveiled a global sting operation they said dealt an “unprecedented blow” to organized crime in countries around the world. The operation known as Trojan Shield led to police raids in 16 nations. More than 800 suspects were arrested and more than 32 tons of drugs — including cocaine, cannabis, amphetamines and methamphetamines — were seized along with 250 firearms, 55 luxury cars and more than $148 million in cash and cryptocurrencies. " Could be one of the methods used to get back the pipeline ransom coins.. Some criminals are idiots eh,... why couldn't they use any other messaging app, like Signal, .... or there are plenty others out there, as well as GPG (but then they'd need to use email maybe.)

seems Imgur.com is down. don't blame it on ChartBuddy!
Nah, fair play, ChartBuddy shouldn't be posting broken stuff. He originally stored the images on my own server so there was no need for error checking. I just need to add some in.

Definitely an option for backup. I could also just use my own servers if that fails. Though not using them was more for opsec than bandwidth concerns.

[edited out]
[edited out] something is wrong with your service, ChartBuddy. please fix it because one user is on its way to establish a movement against you for banning you here. ChartBuddy is not getting banned. You deserve a batman slap for even thinking such. Only way ChartBuddy stops is if Richie_T gives into the peer pressure of a few whining users who surely represent the minority of peeps herein... .. but not that anyone is not susceptible to believing that a few whiners actually represent meaningful consensus.... I have seen it happen before... cannot place my finger on it exactly though... .... hahahahaha [edited out]
...... did you nothing learned from the Hash Block Limit War? Arriemoller no does not lurn much too easily. Nah, blame chartbuddy, bully him, and call him names I reckon. He's an utter pussy never does anything back so giving him a hard time will make you feel tougher. Actually, when you frame the matter like that somac, it presents as a worthwhile goal. Pi cycle top indicator was right once again. I watched that chart for months. But all the other charts like NUPL, Stock to Flow etc. showed we are nowhere near the top. So I ignored the cross of the Pi cycle. And here we are, 50% down. We can just hope for a 2013 like 2nd top. Otherwise this thing will go down further. I just hope we wont see sub 20k ever again. At least not stay there but bounce back up quickly. https://www.lookintobitcoin.com/charts/pi-cycle-top-indicator/That's the thing though, I saw it too but no confirmation from anything else. Same may happening again but perhaps with a different indicator and we'll go its all good because Pi cycle isn't topping. Demand/Supply I feel is the only indicator that matters and I believe those measurements from glassnode are the best ones for measuring that. I will be hunting for more measurements shortly though. I'm with you on the hopes too. If we don't get a 2013 I don't think things will be as bad though, we didn't really overheat that much this run so we should be better positioned on the bear side of things. I hate to bring up shitcoins, but if the shitcoins are springie.. meaning that whenever there is either any positive BTC price moves or they bounce 2x to 10x for any kind of indication that BTC price might go UPpity, then market manipulators (talking about whales) can likely see or feel that kind of froth that is just waiting to be purged.. Don't get me wrong.. for sure I am not suggesting that the tail is wagging the dog, but there seems to be a kind of dynamic in which DOWNity momentum to the extent that it can be identified as the path of least resistance is going to be used to its utmost to purge as much value (and weakhands) as can reasonably be purged.. sure at some point the manipulators start to lose money because they cannot get anymore purging, so I am surely not claiming to be any kind of expert in either identifying purge potential or figuring out how much purging could be continuing as a factor that is kind of working, until it doesn't.

Positive shout-outs to:

-- JJG (578870, but does it matter which long post?) for general sensible advice. My original thoughts of having 1% of my net in BTC turned out well. Was up to 4%...
-- El-Dude @ 578835 nice re Elon hoarding his, erm, Cobalt! That's an investment alternative, though hard to buy in America. Rare earths available at tradium.com in Germany.
-- Gyrsur @578842 for spot-on humor. The Good, The Bad, The Ugly and The Very Nasty?
and of course:

But his handler can. And at least I'm a Swedish bot. Bot.
Hahahaha this discussion is making this bot feel real much moar gooder. I remember the good ole days when nearly ONLY this peeps was referred to as a bot, and now the accusation is getting thrown out there for any random peep that walks (mosies) in the room. just playing around, my two firing neurons were capable of reading the past BTC prices like following a tire trail on the beach too, maybe someone can tell me where BTC will be this evening ? Take the BTC price from whereever it happens to be at the time that you are predicting, and then assign an equal chance to UP, DOWN or flat. Alternatively, seems that when we are in battle mode, you may be able to discount flat a wee bit, so instead of assigning 33.3% to flat, assign accordingly 40% up, 40% down and 20% flat.** ** Note: Probably, I was not the right person to attempt to answer this question since I am not even confident in my attempt to be reasonably indecisive.

That's a bit much suchmoon. Whether on the interwebs or not, it is not a good character trait to merely disagree for the sake of it, and I surely do not mind a bit of argument here and there, but if the arguments are NOT really attempting to get anywhere or even switching the facts or the questions, then there can be a certain amount of disingenuineness there rather than really batting around differing opinions or even having differing interpretations and weighings of importance of facts.
I'm not saying that I disagree for the sake of it... rather that I'm less likely to post "Yes, I totally agree, and you're very clever, much wow" and more likely to post when I (genuinely) disagree with someone. I'm also more likely to read posts that offer something I don't already know, including ones with opinions different than my own. Fair enough. I disagree.. so read this. Speaking of dogs, is there are dog story about ChartBuddy and the "ignore" button? I feel like there should be one. I bet dogs would be smart enough to figure that one out.
Personally, I am NOT creative enough to be able to just make up stories without some kind of a anchor in the real world ---- so in those kinds of cases, it could be useful to attempt outsource that project to the WO gang to try to figure out if someone might have such a doggie story. Seems to me that both dogs and cats have been pretty popular in these here parts, even before the wow token pumpening.. I’m all in and all of it is in cold storage
That is the way…
This is investment advice
Cheers
a true Bitcoiner with balls like steel. #honomoI hate to be "arguing for the sake of it" but surely "all in" is not a good strategy with any investment (and gambling ain't investing)... at least for the overwhelmingly vast majority of peeps.. There could be some rare exceptions, but if we are considering what normies should be doing, it should not be "all in." But hey, peeps gonna peep. ^^ This Aggression Will Not Stand, Man.
Who? Me?

Just sitting here doing a little multisig build with my jaw repeatedly hitting the floor as political leaders ALL OVER Central and South America are putting laser eyes in their twitter profiles. This is UNREAL. I *LOOOOVE* that we are in the middle of an attack on price (I say it because of the short interest that cropped up etc). I betcha we see that attack simmer down pretty quick now because the people doing it must be about to shit their pants. Because if they don't close out of all that stuff they stand to get caught in a pretty epic short-squeeze. In fact it's a catch-22. If some of them get cold feet. But who knows? The wallets I am making are not for selling to Michael Saylor, that's for sure, lol... I think we COULD see one more capitulation event? But how on EARTH does this keep going down?

It's been over 10 years, but it's wild to finally see the confirmed end of bitcoin play out in real time. What should we do now?
The end of the western central banks perhaps, but it's still just the beginning for Bitcoin. PS: I could add laser eyes, but afraid it would burn humanity out of existence. Nice summary. Spot on.
