Yeah I guess there is a little bit of a lure, For sure longer term bitcoiners are NOT as likely to get lured...[snipped] but don't fear for me, I'm not likely to do anything too crazy after all these years of hodling [snipped]
[snipped] Thanks for the response JJG. Some very good points and very much appreciated. I think my most likely strategy is to (perhaps) use some small stash of coins (I even have a few shitcoins lying around somewhere from many years ago that I'd written off as a loss but could resurrect them and flip them to btc, to use for this purpose) to play with on some DeFi experiment, just to see how it goes. My main stash will not be touched. It really is a truly strange experience being a long-term hodler with no friends or family ever having expressed any interest in bitcoin (never mind any understanding) and very few people knowing of my wonderful secret (no homo) hodler status. However, the downside is that there is nobody in RL with whom to discuss the trials and tribulations that come with long-term hodling through multiple bear and bull cycles. How could they possibly understand the emotions and thoughts which come and go through these cycles? It may as well be a different world compared to that which my friends and family inhabit. So it's great to have the WO members to get excited with, reflect with, despair with, have a group hug with, ride rockets with and generally hang out with sometimes, when there is literally no-one else I know who gets it. And a thought out response from JJG makes me realise how valuable the WO is. So thanks WOers. This weird space is special.

The selling going on here is spectacular. Country makes bitcoin legal tender. The market shrugs it off and resumes dumping. If that doesn't tell you where bitcoin is ultimately headed, I don't know what else to say. The project is done. We'll be solidly back under $35k by the end of the week.
Hey, it looks like you're too worried and posting too much here trying to spread fud If you're so confident about price going to 10k USD, why don't you put all your saving and short BTC? Easy money If you do this, everyone will believe you he has his own agenda he predates me 2011 april and by 2011 may he was disingenuously dissing btc. all he has ever done.

Homicide Rate
Panama 9.67per 100k people
El Salvador 82.84 per 100k people
The high crime rates are great for a before and after comparisons for Bukele and pre-bitcoin. "As a result of his Territorial Control Plan, El Salvador's homicide rate fell 52 homicides per 100,000 people in 2018, the highest in the world at the time, to only 3.7 homicides per 100,000 people in January 2020." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nayib_BukeleWhich would put it lower than Panama (2018). The city, Colon, I spoke of is 26.2 murders per 100k. https://www.newsroompanama.com/news/colon-murder-capital-of-the-isthmusIt will be good to see all of those crime numbers go down as people become prosperous in less risky professions.

lets see if this channel holds What does a channel mean? It means that we are staying in such channel until we don't? hahahahaha That sounds silly when saying it out loud, doesn't it? HA HA! Guys, after years of holding, I sold 4 hrs ago into Fiat. And now it pumps. Pathetic I sold all of my Solana because it pumped the last days. Anyway, big in profit. Traded 1 BTC into Solana 2 months ago and as I sold it was worth 1.75 BTC. I just was not sure if I should trade into BTC or Fiat. Because of the bearish sentiment I chose Fiat so I could buy back more BTC later if it dumps. Was gambling. Lets see, I dont trust the pump yet. But the volume looks very good! And it feels good to have soma Fiat on the side if its a fake breakout. You sound pretty damned close to mindrust in March 2020 right now. Wow. Thought that guys would learn their lesson from how extreme the mindrust situation was and then we get guys playing almost the same smarter-than strategy... including fucking around with their full stash.. how deluded peeps can get, no? Of course, each situation is going to have nuances in terms of differences, but still.. crazy... crazy things happen here in bitcoinlandia..

Those numbers I posted are 2021. Yes they dropped their rate 50% in 2020 but that just goes to show you how insane it was to begin with. https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/murder-rate-by-countryhttps://www.hrw.org/world-report/2021/country-chapters/el-salvadorThe National Police reported 706 homicides from January to July 2020, compared to more than 1,700 during the same period in 2019, a 59 percent drop. In ... Anywho, I think my point stands that you do not want to go there with your bitcoin. Well maybe you (or me for that matter) are not afraid, but I would say the majority should be.

Its just a part of my alt stash. Its still lower than the price I sold solana. Sold at 35.11€ and its at 34.5€. Solana got pumped 20% since yesterday. Was time to take profit. Unfortunately thats my first time doing it. Wish I had done that with other alts on their peaks too.

I was being too nice to you because I thought that you were merely on topic and devolving ur lil selfie into a mindrust-like meltdown, but instead you are MOAR worser than that? Gosh, I am too nice of a guy (bot), for not catching your shitcoinnening in this here sacred non-shitcoining and no bullshit thread.

Well that alone should tell you something. If you decide to go there then check in daily please. ... so just more hints of some unspecified nefarious agendas. Are you being held hostage by El Salvadorian government thugs or something you are not allowed to talk about? ... like if I want to go there and look at some volcanoes, mountains, lakes and waterfalls for a holiday is there a good chance I'll get murdered? or worse? ... or set-up a mining operation on the top of a volcano in the cool mountain air my guess is you don't know shit about El Salvador but like to say cool-sounding stuff on the intertubes.
