I've got brand new shoes
Wearing them to break them in
Can not feel my feet

Nice one, but please don't put socks with this kind of moccasins  Wink

Only a barbarian would wear loafers without socks, or with white socks.

I actually wrote "wearing loafers without socks is like wearing sandals with socks" but I deleted it before posting.

If a mirror breaks down, do computer nerds get seven years of bad luck?

If you believe in things that you don't understand
Then you SUFFER!

What now?

Superstition ain't the way.
(I can't write the brass phrase though.)

JBreher...  eloquent and JJG didn't like him. And that's an understatement. Me? I just loved that bear at the picnic table waiting for a treat.

I liked jbreher o.k....

Seems to me that if I had some concerns about some of his post contents, then we would well be talking about that, and I surely ended up responding to quite a few of jbreher's posts .. but I was not responding because I was concerned about him. I was concerned about the ideas that he was expressing...

Yeah of course there ends up being a pattern that shows the kind of personality and the kind of substance that jbreher was posting, but I was not posting about him or his personality, but instead about the substance of his bitcoin naysaying, shitcoin and big block pumpening contents...

Many of us likely know that jbreher did have some good posts from time to time, too...    Of course, sometimes there can be some devolution, and if some member is going to be increasingly posting about shitcoins, bitcoin naysaying and big block pumpening, then it may well seem that someone like me does not like him because of substance of his posts.. but he had some good posts on laddering.. and some other technical ideas from time to time.. to the extent that he was talking about bitcoin rather than shitcoins or big block nonsense.

Roach....Fuck him. The thread moved up a notch in respectability when that asshole left. Good riddance

Yeah... exactly.. it's mostly about substance.. in terms of Roach bombarding the thread with anti-bitcoin shit.. and then gold pumping and sure some of the racists shit too.

I never tire of the silliness, I create it....

That's true... you fuckfart.   Tongue

Yes, point taken. To clarify and correct myself, I really meant you didn't like his shitcoin shenanigans, not him as a person.  My bad.

Thanx for that compliment bro!      #no homo....

Love him or hate him, Jbear is a very interesting individual. He and I had several long discussions on music and vintage musical gear. He owns some gear used by Joe Walsh, Elton John, Rick Derringer, Billy Joel. and Michael Jackson.

I won't go into details because he told me this privately.

It was a quote from Stevie Wonder's Superstition, triggered by "Seven years of baaaad luuuck". Also a joke.  Roll Eyes

Mindrust's situation was not selling too much too soon in terms  "on the way up" but instead selling during a pretty decently sized crash and having relatively high conviction that the crash was going lower..

He allowed Masterluc to fuck him over with one of his retarded calls.

Serious rook move.

I am making an experiment in reverse FOMO.
Found several stocks (not indexes) that were declining or flat for 20-25 years, BUT not going bankrupt.

I find it fascinating and invested in a couple..small change comparing to other things, but good enough to make some dough if these mummies revitalize themselves.
Why fascinating? Because they didn't die for 25 years and, superficially, remind me of the Apple's "dark period" of 1986-1996 when most people thought that it is about to kick the bucket (it's strange to think about it now when it is $2.4 tril in market cap).

The equivalent in crypto would be something like Grin, maybe, unloved and undernourished with a $27 mil market cap. Several NFTs were sold for more, lol.
I did mine a few when I thought that it could be interesting, not suggesting it to anyone.
I am not mining it any longer either. It seems as dead as a doorknob (at the moment).
