• The issue is caused by domain name system (DNS) “pollution,” Binance Pool and Poolin said on their Chinese Telegram channels. F2pool also said the pool’s domain name is not being properly resolved.
Quite surprising if big miners are actually dependent on DNS.

Pool plebs probably do, but I doubt they matter much in the grand scheme of things.

Basically, I treat my Bitcoin wallet as a bank account. I just deposit funds when available, and let it grow.
Ditto. The only question is whether it is a "savings" or "checking" account (as they are called in US). For some, maybe "checking", for myself -"savings".

Hehe. Who cares? They will do it until the end of the World. Just close your eyes. xD Buy More on Dip, Sit tight, Enjoy some memes and HODL. Kitten me?Basically, I treat my Bitcoin wallet as a bank account. I just deposit funds when available, and let it grow.
I am 1 Step Forward. I consider My Wallet as a My Fix Asset. As I am not going to spend a satoshi. Just wondering when my next generation will find that I left Gems for them, How much happy they will be.

Several (non headline) articles I've read suggest that this Omicron carry on most likely has less severe symptoms.
Perhaps when the panic of politicians and hyper propaganda media dies off and some sense of using a few brain cells re-appears in the next few days markets including BTC will recover heavily.
You might be aware, as a hodler of a "high risk asset", you would not fall into panic mode as easily as the ordinary civilian Beause we have a separate thread for coughvid, i'll limit this to one line: High virus replication levels in the upper respiratory tract mucous membranes actually link to high spreading rate but less danger for the host organism, so a new variant of this likes is actually good news.

Yeah, it hurts when you bought at the Dip and it's kept dipping. You bought BTC and it's not reducing. only its value reduced. don't expense your satoshis. Never sell on loss. That's it. If Whales see that you sold your BTC, They will take control of the market.

Never mind a few excess bucks spent on your purchase. It will be largely insignificant when all this becomes a blip, Vroom's copter becomes unable to cope, And we'll need a rocket chart.

I’m delighted to report that my furnace was fixed yesterday - not by me, but after taking advice from several good fellows here, I decided it was a job for an electrician (there’s no point being a btc hodler if you’re going to fry yourself into an early grave and never reap the rewards, I thought).
It seems that all three relays had blown. In fact, it may have been functioning with just one working relay, meaning that it may have only been working at one-third of its potential power for some time, unknown to me.
I quizzed the electrician about why this might have happened - he thought it was likely to be because of the age of the system, the wires becoming more and more brittle over time, especially considering that they’re taking a large load and are frequently turned on/off by a thermostat.
I also wondered why there had been no blown fuse. There is no fuse at all in this system - the electrician said that he wouldn’t expect there to be and that if there is an overload or short, then the relays would simply fail (I may not be explaining this bit properly). I thought this was a little strange but another acquaintance (a distant, retired relative) agreed with this. I’m still not totally convinced, but what do I know….
Since having the furnace repaired, I am thoroughly enjoying being warm again. However, in the last 24 hours:
1.I discovered a leaking toilet waste pipe (now fixed, after spending half of Sunday finding the problem, driving 30 miles for a new part and then fitting it) 2.My garden fence has blown down due to two rotten wooden posts (bought some braces today, will fix when weather permits) 3.The seal on my double-glazed patio door has blown (to be sorted out another time) 4.My shower enclosure door has broken (I spent half a day tiring to find replacement parts online, only to find it would cost only slightly less to repair than to buy a completely new replacement - I guess I’ll just have to join the throw-away culture which I hate so much - but economics made me do it) 5.Several power cuts due to Storm Arwen.
Haven’t had to do any repairs for years and now everything hit me at once. Hey ho.
Thanks loads for all the furnace related input a few days ago, it was very much appreciated. Gotta love the WO!
(tl;dr My furnace is fixed and now loads of other things have broken. Much love to the WO).

Isn't it fun fixing stuff around the house? There always seems to be something to repair or append... It's also one of the main reasons for me going down in posting frequency here.
Enjoy your warm home! Tip: Since i take the daily plunge in cold water or at least a 2-3 mins max cold shower, i need to have freezing temperatures to experience something like "cold". Try it. There's no excuse but a heart condition or raynauds syndrome, but you can use neopren socks and gloves, works for up to five minutes in freezing cold water.
