Just came back home from work (VERY busy lately...), and I see a nice, near-parabolic upward movement.
$44k reached -- hopefully moar soon.
Go, Bitcoin, go!
44k looks nice but it fell back to 43.7 Yeah, probably should just sell it all now, before it is too late. /s

Falling again though. Hopefully just a minor correction on way to >43k. Hopium rewarded, 44K hit today a bit earlier.

This is a net positive but a mixed blessing for us US folks. The western politicians will be able to frame Bitcoin as an attack on the Dollar. Which it is. Not that Bitcoin gives a single shit about the dollar. Just as my little diesel truck could not care less about horses.

Well this is what Americans supposedly voted for. The most popular president ever if you can believe that. Not that things are much better in much of Europe or UK. We seem to be debasing our currency at about the same rate. Highest inflation in 40 years in the USA albeit I reckon the CPI figures are still far lower than what many people are faced with. I'm happy to report my salary increase in percentage here once I hear about it in a few months. I bet it will only be 2%. Fucking jokers.

Iran is being cut off from fiat systems so it's only logical they go with crypto. In fact it's quite late, probably because the Iranian dictatorship doesn't really like the fact it can't control BTC. It's understandable US citizens see Iran as the big baddies as they're fed trash all the time, but surely those who think a little realize Iran has done nothing to the US to deserve this ? Unlike, say, Saudi Arabia ?

44k looks nice but it fell back to 43.7 Yeah, it's dropping now... Almost feel like I jinxed it. I believe the bull run is NOT over yet. There was no real bull run IMHO. There was a rise, sure, and we've had the Elons and the ETFs and all, but I feel there's plenty of steam left in that choo-choo to let out. Not worried, not disappointed, just patiently waiting for that "fuck you" level, to be officially free from monetary slavery. That level is different for each one of us, for me it's around the $100k stable mark. Stable means that it has at least reached twice that amount, has had a couple of healthy corrections and is hovering at a level deep into the $100k-$200k region. It could come this year, or it may not. Either way, is fine by me. I've been in this scene since 2015 -- what's another 2-3 more years?

Well this is what Americans supposedly voted for.
To be fair, some of this started under Trump and the unmeasured reaction to the coof (which that was part of) hasn't helped. But yes, those who gave votes to Biden should have known this was on the cards.

And this juggernaut was set in force decades ago. And involves the whole world. The phrase "Build Back Better" has been bandied about for quite some time (prior to covid). How could they have known we would need to "build back" from something?

How could they have known we would need to "build back" from something? the USA has allowed the roads the railroads the airports the internet the docks the bridges the power grids the dams to all fall behind since 2000 when Bush beat Gore so yeah this has been a long time coming I drive from Howell NJ to New Hyde Park NY a lot maybe 25 times in a year. it is a 80 mile trip each way. we go on 3 bridges and 6 highways. Been doing it for 30 years. Made over 400 trips 2 times zero construction 398 times some kind of construction most was minor patch work. It is like this all over the country. I drive a lot and most places have old decayed roads and bridges.

Someone's getting fed up... Ok ok ok, I need a liquidation cascade. Every day I check open interest and it's rising. Every day I check OI, high OI. I can't take this anymore man. It is what it is but I need a liquidation cascade. Can market makers do something?? https://twitter.com/WClementeIII/status/1481272914653630466EDIT: Just in case it's unclear, he actually means a short liq cascade.

I'd like to know which earth ruler created this Build Back Better phrase and when it was decided all the minions should follow suit in saying this garbage. It certainly wasn't Joe Biden or Boris Johnson. Joe Biden is a well known plagiarist. Reminds me of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fHfgU8oMSo&ab_channel=Deadspin
