Some bigish buys and the 12h MACD just kissing. Sensing a mini rally.

I for some reason enjoy the lagging macd, however we need buying pressure through Friday to get us to cross 12hr and 1d macd.

We shall see, and the last time we had the 12hr cross it was smashd down to the resistance levels...we can gauge the market a bit imo off of the reactions.

well hopefully this is a real breakout.

after all. Huobi is pretty bullish.

but this is the line we have to cross  Wink and after that another one

does a rally case the macd to signal, or does the signal cause the price to rally?

chicken or the egg?

leading indicators FTW!

koryu,
good observation.
if you add the bottom trendline, it's a descending wedge. they terminate upwards.
in EW analysis it's call a fifth wave diagonal. (and we have had five waves catalysed by news)

BTC China news would be the catalyst. Figured as much. Now others will just say BTCC word that the bank hasn't received any warnings. Gox has left everyone severely paranoid, rightly so but I really doubt on April 15th the bank will get a ring from the PBoC in regards to the shadow policy Cheesy

1D chart and the news, that range of 2410 bottom on Huobi looks like the Bear Manipulations last effort at causing mass panic. Barring a rogue twitter confirmation of a blanket ban, slow grind upwards begin.

On an intraday scale, China chart is looking bearish now with a false breakout. It is going to fall again and then take at least another 1-2 days to consolidate before we can really break out (to +$465 on stamp), if nothing bad happens in the meantime.

It's always puzzling to see on who the hell would buy into these no volume "breakouts". Perfect example where greed will actually make you lose money.
If you want to gamble, then buy when everything is quiet and you gamble on the chance, that there will be a weak breakout that you can sell to. But buying into those after they have spent their momentum... weird..

Why don't you tell us where it's going. You seem to know more than other people?

yeah no doubt, it would want to go up another 15-20 bucks (which it might) for that risk to pay off

I don't there will be a trend reversal until the number of shorts on Bitfinex outnumbers the number of longs by 2:1. Right now plenty of people are still optimistic about the price immediately bouncing up after months of a downtrend. When everyone believes that bitcoin is going to continue going down and shorts start to be squeezed that's when a trend reversal will occur. Right now these bounces seem to be bots following MCAD indicators every time it crosses the 6h mark.

in an hr and 6 minute I'll weigh in on it being fake or not.. could die down for a bit then a bull manipulator can push it to trigger 12h* and get anothe wave of panic buying.
