What??!...don't you even know how to bow??    lmao

I'm glad i didn't ever meet her, because i would have totally fucked that up  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I understand Hueristic's hatred against born upper class members quite well, too, but i personally always consider prejudice in the back of my head - not yet being aware of, but becoming open to look for it- when it comes to such feelings.
Generally, prejudice is a rather old remains of our species' traditional usage of simplification, for the sake of more advantage in selective regards, to use our brains more efficiently.

But hey, Elisabeth wouldn't care less about that today, nor would she likely have done so when she was alive.
R.I.P., lady.
In the end we're all equal.

Respect is earned in my book, not handed out by divine right.

Same as with authority. It's being awarded, not enforced.
One of the more shitty entries on the buglist of our society, innit?
I try to look at respect as a balance thing. You can respect a person for some thing(s) and disrespect it in other regard(s) at the same time.
Like Karme, just more simple.

EDIT: Not directly related: What's a good term for the opposite of Heroism?

To use money in the digital realm, we have to rely on ledgers.

To make ledgers reliable, unambiguous order is required.
To establish order, timestamps are necessary.

Thus, if we want to have trustless money in the digital realm,
we must remove any entity that creates and manages timestamps and any single entity that is in charge of time itself.

I have pretty much given up on google, their shilling of paid advertisers is so bad now they don't even provide correct information at the end of the lists.

Its gross but bing is a better engine now.

What's a good term for the opposite of Heroism?

Self Centered Coward, they are easy to spot as they are the ones usually trying to take credit for other peoples actions.

Hmm, let me elaborate a bit more...
By Heroism, i don't refer to something strictly positive. Heroism is also a bad thing, because "flaws" of "heroes" are not noticed as much as when it comes to their "inverted ideal" (insert term here). That's also a strong point the tv series "The Boys" plays with, all along, for example.
The "Antihero" (insert term here) is not being given credit for his being, but there might be some postitive aspects going by unnoticed as well, mainly because it wouldn't fit into the image. Same as with the "hero".

So there can never be a perfect hero, same with the perfect antihero.

Yeah you're right. Imo, it started out with SEO, then fucking adsense appeared and Google finally made a commerce shitshow out of it all.

EDIT: Back to WO topics... I don't like the orderbooks today, and i don't like the action. Somebody didn't get enough, it seems. Too early to feel bullish, but also too early to feel bearish, too. We might be in the middel of the "slow" fade-out of a bear market, but it feels more accelerated than the last time(s) to me. Because market anticipation meets growing adoption, maybe?

Heroism by definition is a descriptive term and apparently you are trying to say "Don't meet your Hero's because they will always disappoint." ?

Disappointment is imo more an emotional feedback function when perception doesn't match expectation(s).
I meant that "hero" is a paradoxon, all in all. But the same holds true for the opposite. But... i'd like to catch a descriptive term for the latter, just out of curiosity. Some might call it "mind-wanking" or similar  Cheesy

Thanks!
But i always think about these privacy emphasizing kind of search engines: "Is it really private just because it tells us it is, in some colorful and/or bold font?"

EDIT: Good night, y'all. HODL strong, most of you know how it works  Grin

EDIT2: I also owe you all a "where-am-i" photo, hope i'll find some time to put up another game, soon. It should be hard to solve this time. Yes, i mean the two of you, fillippone and xhomerx10...

I don't think they are private at all.  Gibiru doesn't even work properly with tor.

But it gives better search results than the others.

When I search for anything online, I honestly don't shop around for various search engines. But that's just me.
I know, I know, wo bros... privacy etc, and I do try to mitigate my privacy concerns online, probably way more than the average normie.
But that horse left the stable years ago with this thing called the internet and smart phones.

Sounds like the term you seek is "Villainous"

But personally I have trouble with that as Villains are just Heros for the other side.
I consider it to be in the same vein as "The Opposite of Love is NOT Hate, but rather absolute indifference."
So in that respect the Opposite of A Hero is A Pawn.

The search results are totally different depending on machine.  Some stuff you will never find via Google and the like..
