Things seem to get a little tight over here in Europe, regarding mains power supply. (Good quality) photovoltaic panels are selling out like crap, network power prices on the rise, solar installers overbooked until mid 2023. Complete systems for the private sector mostly sold out too. I did want to get into PV for my home next year, but as i am looking at the supply market and see prices rising and supply chain issues for the next 6-12 months, i had to take the plunge. Ordered PV panels today, next step is to choose the best possible inverter system for my case, which includes mainly wall- and roof- mounted panels, with a complex shadowing situation and aim at a relatively high PV output in winter. And i didn't even look at backup solutions, which only make sense in an uninterrupted, grid connected mode with sane size of a battery array capacity, which i'm going to design and build, in full geek DIY tradition, in the face of slowly starving supply of components. Thanks Vladimir Putin for messing up the markets by starting a "special military suicide command", i whish you a nice... RUSTY PIPE Mining/node operation is not even included in my plans (yet), but i'm keeping it in the back of my head. Have you considerd a "solar panel tower" basically, if you dont have a good place to put your panels you erect a mast or tower and put them on that tower. Yoy know what I mean, something like this. https://www.elinstallatoren.se/app/uploads/2021/08/Soltorn-1-375x563.jpg It would be way easier and cost effective with free standing panels, but as a private user, PV is only allowed in convenient ways when it's mounted on roofs or integrated into the house's walls. Details are too complicated, seems like the government only wants free standing PV if you are a solar power plant owner.

Wow, all the drinking seems to have had a really negative impact on him.
yea.... he doesn't look healthy at all... Also, I do not think I have ever heard a less meaningful 7 minutes of speaking in my life. It did not even make any sense. Not only did the whole thing not make sense, the individual ideas he was failing to connect were generally incoherent. And I fully turned off my CW is a dipshit filter. I almost wanted it to be compelling in some way. I watched the whole damn thing. Absolute gobbledygook. Totally! He is a genius in talking meaningless crap for hours while sounding like a super confident pro (to people who don't think for themselves). Like every scammer he is always making bold predictions (that of course never become reality) to support his nonsense I find it most entertaining when his idiotic mega ego takes full possession of him and he gets angry with everyone, strutting around like a moronic rooster Like this time: Craig Wright CC Forum duel ends in shouting and pumpkinshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-OekM65zPbc

I think Bitcoin's price movement is slowly heading in a pretty good direction. There is a view that crossed several discussion forums that a new era of Bitcoin has emerged. From the price of $20,000 down to $18,000, then moved to $21,000 and now has reached $22,400.
Good signal.

Don't be mistaken, everything is an act with this guy. If there's shouting, it's because he's hoping people will mistake it for authenticity and sincerity.

Bitcoin is surging above 22K...could it be because of Sweden election results? naaah
What else could it be? Stock exchanges in Asia also surging, and the SEK is also strenghtend against the dollar and euro. (that last thing is probably actually as a result of the election outcome).

Maybe it's just me, but I get the feeling that there is a lot of unnecessary bureaucratic regulations in Austria. I'm not saying we don't have that in Sweden, but it seems that when it comes to building regulations we are a little bit more relaxed than most European countries.

I almost wanted it to be compelling in some way. I watched the whole damn thing. Absolute gobbledygook. But he wanted to talk about few different topics; different from the normal gobbledygook yet related. Like when Alice goes up to Bob in the USA and does whatever she wants to him because he is a republican in a democracy without a constitution or rules. What Alice did do Bob has nothing to do with nodes because Bob had moved his nodes out to the edge for experimental purposes. What Alice did to Bob is none of our fucking business! George Orwell said it best, " ...something halfway between a girls’ school and a lunatic asylum, and all we are doing at present is useless, or slightly worse than useless.” Or perhaps that was Madison but my point is that Bob was attacked by Alice not for being different but for being different for the sake of being different and rightly so. In short we need smaller government with rules pushed to the fringe because it's not the nodes. I hope that clears things up. Thank you.

You really have no idea, Arrie. It might be way worse than you probably image. Example? Well, my neighbor is allowed to feed 8kw/h into the grid (max), because he was the first in line to install a grid connected PV. Some other neighbor tried to register a PV as well, he has been told by the grid company that he will be allowed to feed at a rate of 2kw/h. Bummer. He cancelled the build, so i will likely face the same limits as soon as i get a reply to my application. ...and this wasn't even a very "regulative" example. The tax law is said one of the most complicated of the world. I didn't look for proof, but it doesn't sound very wrong, if i look at my experience with income tax declaration. I was wrapping my head around this, resulting in a future scenario of using the unused PV output for a battery and some mining equipment to complensate for the lack of grid export gains bacause of the limit. Probably down to mining some shitcoin to convert to BTC. Of course, i will take other measures to primarily use my PV output myself. Mining in the sunnier seasons might be profitable. I have to project the numbers and look into the mining gear market, all i did so far was mining some shitcoin (which i can't remember the name or $short) for an equivalent of a few dollars of gain using an Nvidia GTX card, out of curiosity. I don't expect the grid capacity to be expanded in my area, at least not within the next few years. In the very worst case the company will just refuse to take power from my PV, so i would even be forced to go the mining route. Sorry if i spam the WO with a few questions about (c-word) -mining in the near future My biggest concern rn is that the mining would be interrupted on a daily basis, at times the sun doesn't shine. I know, this is more or less a battery-size problem, but i will first have to wait a whlle for restocked battery hardware, while the PV should be up and running already.

Here's the thing though, he's a conman through-and-through and he knows that if he genuinely loses control, there's a good chance he'll say something he that would blow things. Though admittedly, he's made so many blunders that his followers pretty much amount to a cult by now.

Yes, definitely an issue that you won't be able to amortize your equipment costs over periods when the sun doesn't shine. Especially as it tends to go obsolete so quickly.

Just trying to find a way to use power that i can't store or export to the grid. I could cover short periods of time by using a dedicated UPS for the miner. Today, my neighbor was showing me output figures of 2.2kW from six active panels on the west side, less than an hour before sunset...
