waiting for Chart Buddy to signal the end of the bear market like

6 months at most I reckon. Then it will be deflation depression panic stations. The real question is what price does Bitcoin hit in the meantime. Even these levels are pissing me off, much lower from here would be a even bigger downer. Of course, I'll hodl all the way, because when it turns, it will turn hard and the FOMO will be massive. Trying to time that would be a fools errand.

If history repeats:

In the last two cycles it took 10-12 months from ATH to cycle low.

The low this June ('22) would fit that timing perfectly, if we count the first run-up (April '21) as the cycle top.

If we count the second run-up (Nov. '21) as the cycle top, we should see this cycle's low between November and February.

Although The President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis has become one of my heroes
, and it makes me happy that there are still people in my country in leadership positions that think this way.

But it terrifies me that there seem to be so few.

in fantasyland, maybe

I make money daytrading. The secret is not to take losses and use incremental amounts of money to buy/sell (DCA). Everyone starts out by losing money until they learn how to feel the market. And even then we make bad trades. The secret is to let the bad trades sit in your hodl-pile instead of selling at a loss.

BTFD and DCA basically.

Could this week mark the final *large-ish* Fed rate hike? The stonk market certainly thinks so....one final massive short push before the trend starts to reverse.

I guess we shall see.

Oh wow I like this guy already.

Don't get too excited. That guy is the same fkn googly-eyed tool interviewed on live TV saying "Yes, we can print infinite dollars! We own the printing press!"  Roll Eyes

Plus, he's just blatantly putting it out there where govts are going in the future, and he knows it. Predictive programming, Revelation of the Method.

Well thats disappointing  Roll Eyes

LOL!  I had no idea that was Kashkari.  But it was wasn't it?

You got me... OK "Hero" is a little strong.  Especially with those wacky AOC eyes he has!  But that was some good stuff he was saying.  You think he is just being a foil?

Are some here really admiring these evil central bankers who think they can print money ad infinitum without consequences?  Shocked

Oh good grief.  He said a good thing.  I am always surprised with a central banker says something AGAINST the idea of CDBC surveillance.

Maybe the dude is human and can have both bad and good ideas.  Or maybe hes a machine insider and playing a role... could be that too...  almost seems more likely, sadly.

Buy dip now, when the price is high with big profits, then go on vacation to Barocay Island in the Philippines to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere there with bitcoin payments, even though I have never stepped into the country but I want to enjoy the atmosphere there with bitcoin fees.lol

Can we describe how shady, beautiful and enchanting bitcoin will be in the future, this dream is just a picture of the desire to fight the challenges of achievement, which was initially thought impossible to become more real.
Then where are we, when this achievement is perfectly realized?

Isn't Bitcoin the source of the solution?
The solution does exist in Bitcoin as long as every year there is an increase in enthusiasts to continue to own and use Bitcoin where it is needed. Because what you describe does not materialize easily if all countries in the world have not legalized Bitcoin for payment for any goods or services. So this is what Bitcoin still needs so that the life you describe can soon come true. Because it's about everyone believing in Bitcoin as much as they believe in the fiat currency they use every day.

Bitcoin doesn't need or cares about anyone or anything legalizing it. It also doesn't need a yearly increase in enthusiasts, even if we keep current level of enthusiasm (demand) with halfening in supply every 4 years, the price will double or a 25% APY with stable demand

Oh, sounds like Bob brought the christmas cards again?  Cheesy Cheesy

On topic:
Don't call me bearish but that doesn't look like up to me.
The 10-12 months-after-ATH fact is interesting, i intuitively (as good as) expect EOY bottom (or do i only wish for?)...

Started to lurk on offers of the used astronomy gear market. It may not age well.
