Bitcoin traders are most strange bunch ever.. Chinese guy said same stuff we knew from December, we never thought they are banning bitcoin but just banks and he never denied they are banning banks. Yet price rallies after his words. Haha Disclaimer: sitting on lot of fiat

Hey guys, what is the reason for the ongoing bitcoin price decline?
rumors of Gox coming back that would be rather a good news? Why then drop the prices? I think he was trolling you, we dropped due to announcements from Huobi on halting deposits via ICBC bank cards. as for Gox it's a loose proposal to buy Mt.Gox for 1 bitcoin and the plan is to set asides 50% of trading fees to pay back those who have lost funds. only reviving old gox could really, cause a dip as people assume the market has more coins. That and anyone who had coins on gox that planned to buy back in doesn't need to buy any of the remaining coins in circ. Currently we're rebounding on news that China as many have stated ( myself included) has no plan on banning bitcoin out right. http://www.bitell.com/t/2094

Even Bitstamp are getting hyped up with the price rise: Power to the people! #Bitcoin to the moon! Wow, that makes me feel so bullish for some reason. Nice! They are the ones who know how many bank wires they receive. I wonder if that is the reason of this tweet.

Would it not be nice if the 500B dumper would suddenly find himself out of a rally to 500?

It's highly concerning that apparently Bitstamp is showing willingness to manipulate the market given the role they play., because we don't know if there is any real foul play behind the scenes. MtGox once did the same with a similar statement in a press release. I deemed them somewhat more professional than MtGox, but perhaps I was wrong. At least MtGox have stated that they would disallow their employees from insider trading, but I have not heard anything like that from Bitstamp.

I'd be more worried about anyone who takes China bitcoin ban threats seriously, when the best information we had was a Phone or Oral conversation allegedly.
