It's highly concerning that apparently Bitstamp is showing willingness to manipulate the market given the role they play., because we don't know if there is any real foul play behind the scenes. MtGox once did the same with a similar statement in a press release. I deemed them somewhat more professional than MtGox, but perhaps I was wrong. At least MtGox have stated that they would disallow their employees from insider trading, but I have not heard anything like that from Bitstamp. I agree. This is unprofessional. what is unprofessional.. the fact that China's news was used by manipulators to spread fear mongering and failed miserably?

Sorry, forgot where I was posting. Yes, there is absolutely no problem with this; it's not at all indicative of possible disintegrity on behalf of your broker. Never mind.

What ever happened to all the supposed transparency from the exchanges left after the Gox disaster?

Explain to me how they're manipulating by showing some positive humor after so much bearish FUD I could choke on it.

I thought that was all MtGox employees did all day. Is there some regulation in Bitcoin trading that prohibits it (serious question)?

Nah, I see your point, it /is/ kind of unprofessional, but also rather irrelevant in the bigger picture of how shoestring our little operation is altogether still. In other words, I roll my eyes at it, and then amuse myself thinking of the articles people will write in 20 years about "how almost childish the early market participants and merchants" were.

This is unprofessional. what is unprofessional.. the fact that China's news was used by manipulators to spread fear mongering and failed miserably? This has nothing to do with China news. It has to do with Bitstamp implying investment advice, and how that is unprofessional. In the real world, it would even be illegal. Imagine what would happen if a stock exchange started telling its customers to buy a stock.

They dropped us yesterday and brought us back up. If you don't think the higher ups are buying in China your delusional.

Stamp didn't bother lying to us about this? This just makes them more honest. Gox saying that doesn't mean they actually did anything. It's like the pope denouncing violence.

That a bunch of people act like retards doesn't mean they should too.

I was going to insinuate that but whats the point, I am not going to assume things of them. I just love the contempt for stamp while the Country of China and the circlejerk of bears pushing China Ban's boggles me. Or hey just ignore the unprofessional aspect of our current financial systems to find a fucking tweet inappropriate, following ATH in despair a little joke was perfectly timed in my opinion. I don't even trade or have anyone I know who trades on stamp, it just pure bashing for reasons that are so weak it might as well be called FUD.

And you guys bought and like it It is unprofessional and it would be same if they wrote - "we're going to crash". That's not how broker behaves and if there's more laws around Bitcoin they would be in trouble with this.
