4 hour RSI reached a historic low of 6!

4 hour?  is that very helpful?

what about daily, 3d or weekly?

How do those longer term charts look in terms of the mumbo-jumbo indicators that may or may not end up playing out correctly?

When you wake up in the morning and you don't care if Mr. Mars dawned with a red or green dildo, and whether some big Chinese company failed, that's probably priceless Cool

It can take quite a while for anyone to get to such a point that s/he is not bothered/excited by seemingly BIG ass candles, even if s/he has been practicing for a long time.

[edited out]
Sure the classic "it takes money to make money"

Ie if I had 5 million in asset A and 20 BTC.

I could give no cares about the 20 BTC as it is under 10% of my wealth.

If I have 1 million in total assets and 20 BTC is within the 1 million I would be nervous about that 20 btc as it is ½ my wealth

Well?  We haver price performance, but we also have time, and if we have enough time, then if we have identified an asset that may well be able to perform well in the market to either keep its value or to go up in value, then we can invest small amounts in order to contribute towards greater potential that whatever value that we put into the investment at earlier points in time will have decently good chances of both going up in value and potentially having some compounding affects upon itself in terms of the appreciations of price get rolled into the base in order to contribute towards a kind of magnification of value appreciation of such asset...

in this case we are considering that bitcoin likely fits into such a category of a fundamentally strong investment that is likely to out perform other assets in the market.

Hey JJG Is it Thursday yet?

Sorry for your loss.

You snooze, you loose.

Gotta work on your timing and get it a wee bit MOAR better.

Probably even higher if it weren't for fucking bearded apes and whatever other tripe out there.

Yeah..

Let's just hypothesize the elimination of all things we believe to be potentially negative on BTC's price location, and then see where that gets us.

That deserves its own eyeroll... unless you were merely eyerolling ur lil selfie?

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

For all we know $0 could be in the cards. It is a speculative asset after all.

While for many (perhaps most) it may be a speculative asset, there are many who use Bitcoin for practical reasons.

It is still the fastest and cheapest way to send money around the world.

I'm just lucky I didn't have to sell any today.

My OTC exchange said they would front me a couple of grand at no cost toward completing a sale after locking into a price next week. That should get me through the weekend. I hate having to use bank money. Real cash is so much better.

We both agreed this dip should be done by then. It was mostly weak-hand panic about the Space-X news followed by the usual margin calls.

Onward and upward.

What do you mean?

We are no longer in a bull market?

By the way, we did not even break below the don't wake me up range (yet), so sure I am getting a little bit excited since we are now in the lower end of the range rather than the middle, but I am having trouble to suggest that we might have  had been in a bull market, and then merely because we have broken down to the lower end of the seemingly current consolidation range that we might have left the bull market.  Is that what you mean?
As far as I am concerned,  we are still very much bullish, at least until we break the lower end of the range ("don't wake me up range"). I feel what is playing out is just market seeking liquidity which is normal. Before most major move, market do do exhibit this kind of shock which is in the form of a sharp move in the opposite direction of the intended direction. Those who understand this are not perturbed one bit.
One good thing I love about bitcoin is that you are only at a loss of you sell... so market can do whatever it want, so long as I have my bag intact, I  am not worried. After all, we are here for the long ride.

.......

You must work for MSM because you don’t know what the fuck you are talking about!

Take your delusional merit whoring ass somewhere else you imbecile!

Throwing bullshit stats like that thinking people who live this thread won’t slap you down!

I don’t usually use this tone, but FUCK OFF

No problem with your tone, im not a snowflake, i only say what i see , and yes i dont like technical analisis, for that i said what i say. Technical analisis its bullshit, and its my point of view. Only fundamentals matter.

About merit... my post on meta are all asking to not give merits to new accounts.

How to lose money on the short term:

-Follow the financial advice and crap posted by the 50% of W.O, who always are thinking on bull bull bull or bear bear bear.

How to gain money on the long term.

-Just hodl ,and read the remaining useful 50% of W.O.

ftfy

Trading, especially with leverage, or using derivatives is just stupidity. The manipulators will eat you.

Always take your profits in Bitcoin. Fiat currencies are a sucker's bet.

Simply convert your fiat to Bitcoin whenever you can and convert your Bitcoin to fiat only when you absolutely must.
_____

Edit: Actually 50%/50% tarders to investors doesn't really represent the WO.

It's more like 33% tarders, 33% investors and 34% merit whores.

Well yes maybe i went too far with 80%, i accept your recomendation.

Sometimes Indicators show the results having similarities with the Lottery ticket where what we expect and what they bring in front of us Quite relatable with this

Start kissing whales asses boy's for a FAKE PUMP ore it will tank towards $20k.

That could be.  Yep.  That could be.

We are already quit below the 200-week moving average again (which is currently $27,382).... and I was starting to think that the 200-week moving average was moving from going up $15 per day to $16 per day, but then I did a quick calculation of the past 17 days (which was $27,382-$27,144=$238 / 17 = $14)...

so in essence I see that the 200-week moving average is ONLY moving up by $14 per day, and sure the longer that we stay below the 200-week moving average or even the lower that we go, then those lower prices would drag down the rate at which the 200-week moving average is going up each day, and maybe we will once again find ourselves with a 200-week moving average that is ONLY going up $10 per day.  We going to go lower than that?  I have my doubts, but I hate to completely eliminate any possible scenarios, even if I don't like it.

By the way, you surely are negative in recent times Paashaas.  Are you sure that you are still the same peep?  No one took over your account (or your mind), recently?

But more than 20% of us here know that already, right  Tongue

Probably somewhere between 50% and 80% within the outlying boundaries of the latest likely to be more accurate measures.

Interesting dilemma … catch the knife and buy at 26,000$ or wait …very tempting… buy imo
Cheers Hodlers

For sure not an easy dilemma..

What are the odds for up or down?

Sure we are getting close to the lower end of the don't wake me up range, so it is not clearly any kind of expectation that "we" are going to break below the range, even though surely the whole situation may well be feeling a bit dire at the moment to both be dancing below the 200-week moving average and also at the bottom of the don't wake me up range...

Let's say that you had $100k invested in bitcoin, and then you had been building up cash for the past 6-8 months (presuming that you did not use such cash up on any of our earlier dips), so then maybe you have $6k saved up, so you do not necessarily need to spend all of the $6k that you have saved up, but it may well be prudent to deploy half of it, and not be too greedy for your own good..

....but hey, what do I know?  I have been buying in about $500 increments all the way down from $30k.. so it is not like I am even in any kind of a practice of not knowing what to do because I don't tend to wait, and I also set up my BTC buy orders in advance,

but I have already tentatively decided that if BTC prices go below $22k in this particular round, I may well have to reconsider some of my current set up for BTC buys that are set below $20k (from right around $13k to $20k in $500 increments)  - not that I even expect any of them to get hit, but you never know around these here parts.

For all we know $0 could be in the cards. It is a speculative asset after all.

While for many (perhaps most) it may be a speculative asset, there are many who use Bitcoin for practical reasons.

It is still the most private, most self-controllable, most verifiable, most secure, fastest and cheapest way to send money around the world.

For sure no guarantees that the dip will be over by next week - but surely seems like decent odds that this is not a long lasting dip...

and I suppose if you are getting into an informal "gentleman's" agreement, then you are still likely going to either extend your agreement for the advance or settle up next week if the BTC price does not end up bouncing back (as you both expect) by next week.
