It doesn’t matter why bitcoin dumped.

It’s caused by morons and manipulators, and doesn’t matter at all if you don’t have an urgent need to sell for expenses right now.

I don't know where are you getting this information from, but according to https://www.coinglass.com/LiquidationData  BTC  liquidated positions in the last 24 hours are $0.5 billion. This is still much of course. Each time there is a crash I feel quite happy that all these losers feel remorseful that instead of buying real bitcoins, they were gambling with leveraged long positions. There is only one reasonable position and that is 1x long :p.  Everything else is gambling with a 99.99% chance of loss. So, losers, instead of buying real coins, go place 100x long position. It is proven by math and science that the price won't go 1% lower and will shoot straight to 30K, making you billionaires. Go, go, go! #popcorntime

Good morning Bitcoinland.

Not so good really. Just woke up to see we finally hit $26K. I need more coffee.

Held off buying some dollars yesterday, hoping for a Bitcoin rebound. Instead it was the dollar that ended up costing me more. Luckily it's just a few thousand dollars weekend pocket cash.

I can wait until late afternoon when I go to pick up the cash to lock in the price. It bounced off $26K quite nicely and seems to be on the rise.

Let's see what the next few hours bring.

When you just follow other people's advice without trying to figure out what you are doing, sooner or later you will still lose. I would say that you need to try to figure everything out on your own and try to understand what you are doing. You may still lose, but get your own experience that can help in the future. And, if you follow other people's advice, losing will only lead to another adviser and a new loss. As it seems to me...

Nobody should be leverage or short term trading.

I don’t know what you’re talking about because pretty much every reputable WO poster advocates long term HODLING.

I’ve been here since 2014 and I’ve never seen 80% of the people here suggesting anything other than long term HODLING.
