Anyone here who made it with Bitcoin but still keeps living like a average person? Thank god I made it, thanks to Bitcoin. But I keep staying in cheap hotels, try to eat good food but without spending unnecessary money etc. For example, I eat a good steak but I don’t choose a steak house but prefer a supermarket where you buy the meat from the butcher and then they cook it for you in the built in restaurant.. That costs me 20 bucks vs 60-80 bucks in the steak house for the same meat. I’m not sure if this is a good or a bad habit. I hate to spent money on things that do not give me more benefits than the cheaper version. A luxury hotel is nice but at the end you just need it for the night sleep. I’m outside all day exploring. Some people spent 500 bucks a night for a hotel. I try to safe 5€ per night by finding the same hotel over google. Usually I pay 40-50€ per night for a hotel

Another example, I live in the center of Bangkok and stay in a luxury apartment in Asok. The room is only 30 sqm and it costs me 700 euros a month. I could have a 60 sqm apartment in the same building but would cost me 1400 Euros. I just can’t justify spending that much money every month because it’s money I won’t ever see again.  So, I live on a budget, but still in a luxury place. Trying to find the middle way when it comes to spending money.

Would be interesting to hear different opinions on this topic. Some people spent it on yachts and lambos. I try to live as cheap (but good) as possible.

Another fun fact :

Christianity also revolitionized the Music and made the world more bearable and fun.

Happy Holidays Beautiful Christians !

Well, then i'm probably missing the fun?!
As an ex-member of the Christian Church, but as a man who is acting on Christian values, more than less, i can only say that the Christian Church is not acting very Christian, probably almost never did.
I believe Jesus Christ would turn in his grave if he knew how things turned out regarding "Christianity".

I wonder if Jesus Christ, if still alive, would be a Bitcoiner...

I bet you are mising out on a lot.
I bet you werent very Christian either.. It is not about the Church either dumbo..

I believe the same for Muslims how it all turned out.

Cant cure human nature eh dumbo?!?

Imagine thinking Jesus of all People would need or Have Bljatcoijns.. Listen to yourself 😆
Spoiler alert.. He would snap it out of existence.

oh dumbo dumbo.. whats gonna come from you huh 😆

Turn the other cheek?
Love thy neighbor?
He who is without sin cast the first stone?

Guess those only apply when it's convenient huh?

For what it's worth, my experience with people of faith (mainly Christians, bus some from other religions), has been pretty negative, on average. I find many of them to be among the most aggressive, intolerant, arrogant, stubborn, closed-minded, bitter, toxic individuals I've ever met. For me, the fact that someone is deeply religious is a pretty accurate predictor of one or more of the above traits. There are exceptions, of course, but the norm seems to be like that.

It's sad, really... I wouldn't wish it on anybody.

One time I gave 20+ merits here to an account I thought was here out of their own general interest... they joined a signature campaign within a week, and later it turned out to be the 5th alt account of a banned user (they got their ban removed and are still posting here under at least 2 other accounts, but that's not the point).
I remember I think he is naim027. I remember his story how he got perban first, then unban, then again ban (with alternative accounts confession). If I am not wrong.

I mentioned naim027 for Negotiation. He should go through his story.

I will give you 5 merits if you can correctly guess the two alt accounts Naim027 is currently operating; at least the ones I am thinking of (he may have more but I'm not sure).* You have to name them both, and you only get one guess.

* I am only 95% sure they are him which is why I haven't mentioned it elsewhere yet.

Hahaha!
Do you think I posted it for Merit. I just shared it for Negotiation he should learn from this guy. And why you mentioned him (naim027). Means you didn't share the name but I remembered so I shared. Smiley
By the way I will try to my best to mention his alts. Not form merits but for you.

Once it reaches 50K, all the grandmas and taxi drivers fomo in, then one sells.
Then when it dumps back to 40K, one buys those coins back.
Not rocket science.

I will still be Hodling at 50k.

CC: JayJuanGee

Why do I get a mention?

I am thinking that $50k to $55k is a current kind of point of resistance, just as I had thought that $35k was our previous point of resistance....
.. with a cashing out rate of 5% of the BTC stash every time the BTC price went up 50%.

50k now is a now new target value for most of us because of current bull run. The way price jumped up and crossed 40k in a short span, now the bet is whether Bitcoin will touch 50k or not. May be as sirazimuth said many will buy when price touch 50k, while there are many who are waiting for this price to sell there coins. You are very right in saying that 50 to 55k will be new resistance but that resistance will be better then 30k resistance.

Don't get me wrong. I mentioned you just on a lighter note that even if price touched 50k, I wont be selling my bitcoin. This is something we are discussing for quite sometimes now.

hmmm imho everyone approaches this differently.

Like I always did enjoy some fine dinners as this is one of the things I love to do. Also pre BTC though BTC made it more easy to do.
For houses etc areas of living is very different as well. For example where I live we have a nice house with a few bedrooms a swimming pool etc where someone else maybe just got an appartement for. But I do love my house and it surely isn't over the top extreme or whatever. So I will not only eat a steak at home but I still do love eating at home as much as I do at a restaurant.
Probably my main thing is the freedom I got now... I go sport when I want, if I chose to I eat what I want etc
I'm not filled with luxury but I do live and have some fun times. For cars I just got something I like and i'm happy with.

It's sad, really... I wouldn't wish it on anybody.

I should not get into to this at all, but

The great Italian director Federico Fellini has a stoning of a woman scene.  It is a perfect work around for

"He who is without sin cast the first stone?"   {credited to Jesus}

In the Roman Catholic religion you are born with original sin it need to be washed away by baptism.

So you get baptized and are sinless.
Next rule you are too young and stupid til you are 7 years old so you are incapable of sin.

So in Fellini's movie the town wants to stone a woman to death.

They give a rock to a 5 year old boy and he already knows to cast the stone .

So the town followed Jesus's rule "He who is without sin cast the first stone?"

10 or twenty people stone the woman.

Seems bad enough , but what is worse is the boy know his job and just did it.

Clever work around of a nice idea from Jesus.

The point is people can and have been really cruel to one another. Even figuring out work arounds to be cruel.

I will only comment on Roman Catholics as it was what I was born into.

I do have some personal experiences with other religious people that were terrible , but won't mention the  religion.

I think it is more a factor that all people have issues.

So if you spend time with them you will see religious people use a belief in a god to be an ass.
