Saylor strategy about Bitcoin is working fine. He has 193,000 Bitcoins bought at 6 billion usd and his current holdings has value of 13 Billion. So as long as his strategy is working, he doesn't have to worry at all.
Saylor's strategy? It's what many of us have been preaching for years: Buy, hodl, don't sell unless you must, get rich in the long run. Easy peasy. ...not exactly. MSTR is levered 2.2X, which means that IF bitcoin goes to roughly 31-32K, the intrinsic value of MSTR stock would approach zero. They would probably not go bust, but they would probably lose 70-90% of their market cap in this scenario. How likely is the "deleveraging"..maybe unlikely right now, albeit JPM started making noises about it. https://decrypt.co/221873/microstrategy-bitcoin-buys-severe-deleveraging-jp-morganMaybe they want "in" on this deal, lol. JP Morgan has concern about the way MSTR is buying Bitcoin but Saylor is very loud and clear about his bitcoin buying strategy: - It's the best investment asset. So the endgame is to acquire more Bitcoin
- Whoever gets the most Bitcoin wins. There is no other endgame
eh..not exactly... BUY bitcoin for cash, don't buy it on a 2.2X perpetual margin. Margin literally kills accounts. I agree with @JJG...there is something odd with the guy rn...like, why you want to buy 500mil a week after you bought 800 mil worth.

Got so many calls, From old friends who ignored me, Asking how it's done. "Google it" I say. "Google what?" I hear some cry... "Click here" I reply! #pleasemakeitstophaikuThat is funny, but it is not very nice... and I suppose it depends on the "friend." I know that it can get annoying to continue to have to say the same thing to people and they continue to ignore us and they fail/refuse to act and/or to take responsibility for their own research, due diligence and also taking proper steps rather than having to get spoon fed and hand holding along the way.. There are ONLY so many hours in the day... and yeah, maybe if they came to you after having had done some proper research, then surely there is information out there.. but sometimes they might still need to be guided to help to know the difference between good information and information that is not so good. I am not completely disagreeing with your seeming saltiness, but there are virtues in patience too.. .. maybe een to suggest an assignment and then have them come back to you after they did the assignment. [edited out]
hyperlinks are like hiding extra syllables in another dimension or something. is that even legal? lol cheat Another good point. AlcoHoDL is a haiku cheater. Someone had to say it, and I am just agreeing with the BIG meanie, also known as vapourminer, who said it first. eh..not exactly...BUY bitcoin for cash, don't buy it on a 2.2X perpetual margin. I am starting to think that he has a bit of a vendetta with Jaime Diamond and those kinds of people. He is being a bit more confrontational than his usual character in which he is saying not to be confrontational.. while he is doing a similar thing that he had been advising not to do.. yet I am not sure if he is really overextending himself, but he might get the attention of the wrong people when he is being so blatant about the whole seemingly printing his stocks matter.. .. bitcoin goes up, he prints more stocks to buy bitcoin which causes his stocks to go up so he can print more money from the stocks in order to be able to buy more bitcoin.. .what could go wrong?

My accountant. Capital gains are capital gains, whether Bitcoin or otherwise. Edit: My accountant is not a tool. Actually, he's a nice guy. Pisses some people off though... bit of an attitude.

USA IRS? In the past I've used Koinly exporting to HRBlock Deluxe. I think Koinly is great for just tracking, or double checking your numbers. You can set up the full account, just without downloading tax form privilages, for free. Connect your wallets. or upload transaction pdfs, or manually input cost basis. It will show your profits, balances, taxes due, just not export it. https://koinly.io/

It requires, basically, to check each and every txn and see that it is "merged". https://support.koinly.io/hc/en-us/articles/9917573707676-How-Koinly-handles-transfers-between-your-own-walletsImho, if you only have a dozen or less txn/year, then no need for koinly shmoily. If hundreds, then maybe OK, providing that you have time to "merge" the misbehaving txns.

I usually only have 1 sell per year so taxes aren’t all that difficult. Especially if you consider taxes beforehand and make sure that the amount you sell corresponds with an amount that you can easily show a cost basis for. That simplifies things a great deal.

Nobody should panic about the downtrend we are going higher every day by day it is part of the trend either uptrend or downtrend but bitcoin will always be the best asset to invest in because you don't lose you only reduce the worth which if you can be honest and patient with your asset definitely it will get back to feet
