Last week ETFs bough over a month's supply of BTC (BTC18.750). Just yesterday ETFs consumed BTC7.761 which is over 17 days of supply consumed in only one day! Anyone else is astonished that they're able to do that without moving the price much?

Certainly YES.... makes me thinking who is selling etc

the big part of the Bitcoin supply is held by individuals.
I guess whales from the first era are eager to sell for a few millions what they bough for a pizza.
Nothing wrong about that.

It clearly is just gaslighting about democracy.  Old Joe is the elected candidate for leader of the Democrats going into this election and they just tossed him on his ear and are undemocratically installing Kamala.  She's already raising funds for her campaign.  Who elected her as party leader?

The voters in the primaries. The way the system is set up, you vote for a candidate in the primaries and you have to trust his/her choice of a yet-unannounced running mate.

Remember Gerald Ford? People voted for Tricky Dicky in the primaries and then for him and Spiro Agnew in the general election. After Spiro quit, Nixon arbitrarily installed Ford as his VP so when Tricky himself was forced to quit, Ford became president without ever being elected.

Democracy? I guess everyone got to vote. Voting for Nixon or Biden in the primaries shouldn't mean electing Ford or the successor to whomever Harris might choose as a running mate though. This "democracy" is flawed.

Same holds true for Trump/Vance. When you vote for a geriatric candidate like Trump or Biden, you take your chances.

I'm in my mid-70's but I'm still sharp enough to know I'm too old to be running a government.

I also question the motives of anyone over the age of 70 who would even want to try to run a government. It seems like power hunger is the chief driving force. Any normal person should welcome the chance to live happily ever after.

With the way things are going recently, it's beginning to look quite likely that that was not a coincidence.

And trump caused 25-30% of that number.

He would likely tap out the country. As his specialty is going bankrupt.

By the way it could be his goal to do it. It also could be a good idea as it is obviously happening started with Johnson fight Vietnam and the war on poverty at the same time. Nixon tossed in more fuel ending the gold standard.

Been downhill since.  Had a bit of a pause with Clinton and he fed some money 1993 to 1998 to the middle class.

But basically from 1964 to 2024 the USA middle class has been under attack of at least 50 of those 60 years.

And by your math how much Biden caused of that number? Point being laying blame doesn't matte if both parties do the same thing

The deficit numbers are public knowledge. And if you paid attention to what I said Johnson began the slide (Democrat) Nixon added fuel (Republican) Trump had the highest four term total 🟰 fact.

When Biden is done we can compare it. His term is not done.

here is a list 1929 to 2023

https://www.thebalancemoney.com/us-deficit-by-year-3306306

Trump was about 7.5 trillion in four years.

Biden is about 4.9 trillion in three years.

No doubt they are the frist and second place losers in terms of debt.

Like duh Biden will be dead in under a year he does not need a pardon.

But you need to understand how fucked the USA is.

Supreme Court is now fully immune from taking gifts and or bribes
President is immune from any official acts including murder if its official.

congress doe not have any of the above immunity.

so the three part government is now shattered.

Well, there is a democratic process for each party to come up with a presidential nominee and after Bernie et al got screwed over, the rules were said to have been strengthened.  The process isn't nominate and fall back to the appointed VP after forcing out the old part.  I wouldn't expect the Dems to follow any democratic process though; why start now?

Not just Bernie. RFK Jr would probably have polled more delegates than Kamala if they had held the proper process and not left it this late.

But we couldn't possibly have that either now could we? The Clintons and Obamas wouldn't allow it.

For the sake of the USA and the rest of the world an independent ticket with Tulsi Gabbard, RFK Jr and Trump I think could possibly really have changed things for the better I think.

Kamala is absolutely fucking stupid.
It's not even a joke.

Mitch McConnell complete brain freezes also seemed to have been forgotten.

Truly strange what the hell is going on.

While technically true, in reality it really isn’t so accurate. Democrats have a way of holding outgoing republican Presidents hostage until they take on debt at the end of their term for the next guy to spend. You saw it with Bush in 2008, when he took on hundreds of billions in debt to “save” the global economy that went on his term’s debt sheet, but the money was spent by the Obama administration. Same thing with Trump and covid, only it was trillions that Biden got to spend. I’m guessing we won’t see Joe take on trillions in debt for the next guy to spend. Instead, he has been spending the end of his Presidency trying to lock in ongoing debts to supply Ukraine for the next President. I guess spending the last guy’s money wasn’t good enough, now they’re trying to spend the next guy’s money too…

Mtgox coins have started hitting the market. The first users are beginning to confirm having received their coins. Market only down $2,300 so far today and holding up well. I imagine the losses will accelerate as people get off work or start seeing their nest egg declining as well as more users receiving their coins. Still hoping we see some billionaires taking advantage of the liquidity to do some stacking so things don’t set off a panic.

This story keeps going round and round...now you are speculating about 'getting off work' and 'nest egg declining'.
Laughable. All it is is SOMEONE (sure, not you, apparently) taking advantage of the situation and shorting, then buying.

How this 'theory' reconciles with tremendous buying the last few days and not much price action?
Someone was shorting into retail/ETF buy?

I think financial 'people' need to be significantly 'culled" as far as their profession numbers are concerned (i don't advocate any violence, just getting separated from the job). 50-70% of those would hopefully go on UBI, eventually, as their jobs are clearly not needed in the world of bitcoin.

I don’t feel like explaining how liquidity pairs work with different currencies in markets. You can believe that everyone is selling all the different alts at once if you want to.

Not that your questions are genuine, but to answer you and hit my character count, we are only receiving payouts in a combination of fiat, BTC, & BCH.

Edit: Imagine thinking I’m short BTC and that’s why I am keeping people informed.
