looney tunes meme gifs time?

What if it suggests that in the future, say 5 years, almost no one would have any income from work (due to AI, "agents", autonomous driving, etc).
Setting up an UBI for 90-99% of the society would take time and cash flows into almost anything "financial" for regular (not 1%) folks would grind to a halt as people would be in a survival mode.

maybe moar like WPA for power/network ugprades...u know, to build a more efficient population control system

think about how many guys are building and shall be maintaining power plants, stations, lines, etc.

and this crap can't even solve captchas

Could it be that bitcoin is sniffing it out?
It seems that this is either a deliberate takedown, like something WS did to internet in 2001-2002 or, maybe, it is something structural?

maybe no bounce until after nvidia earnings?

yeah that huuuuuuge IQ just sat and watched bitcoin without getting any for how long? well over a decade?

maybe that stated IQ is missing a decimal place?

Guys, he asked his son point blank if he was a (sic) skimmer (I'm pretty sure he meant scammer) and his son said "No!" in no uncertain terms.  He must be legit.

Cameron Winklevoss says this is the last time you will be able to buy Bitcoin under $90K. That’s a pretty bold statement for someone who owns a major exchange to make. He said something similar about $100K a year ago, but maybe this time is different? I struggle to see where the money is going to come from to lift this market, but maybe they know something I don’t. Quite possible since I am just a random name on a website.

hey get your dip buys in.
my 92.5k is in
we are knocking at my next 2 dips

89.89k
87.98k

My $92k is locked in too, and so my next one is similar to yours at $89k and then next one after that at $86k and continuing every $3k-ish down the line.  I surely don't need anymore buy orders to fill in order to feel happy.  The only thing that I usually want is that when the BTC price starts to get within a few hundred dollars of the buy orders, then I will start to cheer for those buy orders to get filled, otherwise if the price is not close to my buy orders, then I would prefer to not have those buy orders fill.

There has been a lot of cascading drops in the past day.. which makes it seem like there is no support when it starts to drop like that in that never ending kind of way... But what is a guy supposed to do?... Just keep buying (with some reluctance because of not knowing when the downward cascading will stop dropping) has been my own way of dealing with these kinds of matters.. which sometimes can be frustrating to have filled so many BTC buy orders that I had been beginning to believe were not very likely to have had filled, ever... but now.. Many of them are filling (with reluctance)...... maybe the flash dip is almost ready to show itself, at some point?  Perhaps? perhaps?  Or maybe some of these bears in these here parts are going to end up being correct and we won't get a flash dip until the price reached to around $70k-ish?  It would be nice to have some kinds of a pause in the cascading downity so that we can get our bearings (and regroup).

Sounds stupid af to me... but what do I know  Roll Eyes

I doubt that high IQ helps guys to see the future any better than an average IQ bitcoin HODLers.

He still might end up being correct, but it is difficult to give him very much credit for knowing the future merely because he has a high IQ and he is a fairly recent bitcoiner as vapourminer mentioned. I seem to recall a similar article last year about some supposed amazing prediction.. maybe it was the same guy.. self-proclaimed hight IQ.. reminds me of some member(s) we have here with self-proclaimed high level of supposed intelligence.

Never mind this Bitcoin stuff for now.  I have some homework due tomorrow morning and I am drawing a blank so a little help would be greatly appreciated.
The assignment is a 10 minute oral presentation on "What always makes you laugh" and I am drawing blanks.

That is because you are not very funny.

It's not that I don't laugh but I've never committed those events to memory... except the first time I had my new girlfriend over to meet my family.  We were all sitting around eating pizza and talking when I noticed my girlfriend's plate was empty.
You remember when you were a kid and had those belching contests with your friends to see who could say words or even full sentences while expelling air?  Yeah, well I never participated in such idiocy...

You are absolutely no fun.

but on this particular occasion, while actually trying even harder to be on my best behaviour, I said "Hey Shelly(that was my girlfriend's name), would you like some more pizzaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAA!?!"    and for the life of me I could not stop the flow.  Well, if it were a competition, I would have won that day without even trying but.... 😭   at the time I was so embarrassed but everyone else laughed their asses off.   Just thinking about that now always makes me laugh without fail.  Sometimes I remember it at the most inconvenient times - funerals come to mind... Seriously though, I need some help with this homework assignment because I don't think I could even repeat that let alone stretch it out for 10 minutes.

What always makes you guys laugh?  Serious replies only please.

Serious replies about funny things?  Common.  You cannot be serious.

This is an impossible task.

I would like to know your true motive and why are you putting "us" (royal) on the spot like this?

Are you trying to distract "us" from the fact that we are becoming more poor than "we" could have had ever imagined?

What always makes you guys laugh?  Serious replies only please.
well i see chartbuddys being no help
although im not gonna be much help either im afraid

my sense of humor is very dry. however i honestly do get laughs watching wildlife antics, especially in the mornings while sipping coffee after putting birdfeed and such out... ive watched squirrels leap from my roof to try and land on the feeder i had just set out and was in squirrel jumping range apparently. be sitting there and suddenly a falling squirrel goes by the window.. then they go up the gutter spouts to try again.

birds fistfighting (wingfighting?) while on the ground is pretty funny too.
so basically sorry, i got nuthin

For sure squirrels fall from trees from time to time.  I recall one time about 27-ish years ago, I was living in the second floor of an apartment, and so I was leaving the aparment and so there was a tree that kind of went above the roof or the same height, and so  as I was walking out, it had just rained, and a squirrel fell from the tree, perhaps 25-ish feet up and landed straight on the pavement of the parking lot and maybe it was 15 or 20 feet from me.  It was lying on its side, and I thought that for sure it was dead, the pavement was wet and I slowly approached the squirrel and I could see that it was still breathing but it looked like it was out of it.. so I walked up to it somewhat slowly and I was thinking about what I was going to do and as I was squatting down to get a better look (I had a backpack) and I must have gotten within about three feet from it, since I was getting ready to touch it to see what it would do.  I am thinking that its eyes were closed, and as I was getting close it suddenly opened its eyes and within 1-2 seconds it sprung to its feet and took off like nothing had happened.

Since it was 27-ish years ago, I might be misremembering.. but that's my squirrel falling out of a tree story that happened right in front of me.  I know that they fall out of trees since if anyone ever walks in areas where there are a lot of squirrels there will sometimes be dead ones but maybe tthey could have had gotten hit by cars rather than falling out of trees.

One time (maybe 5 years ago?) I was walking with my about 20 pound dog, and I would give the dog quite a bit of leeway to do what it wanted as long as it was not running into traffic.  We were walking around a fairly small town, and maybe our walk was about 30-40 minutes, and towards the beginning of the walk the dog found a dead squirrel, so it picked up the squirrel and was walking with the squirrel in its mouth... and the tail was really bushy so the whole squirrel looked like it was almost as big as the dog...  At that time, we had a somewhat regular route, and I am pretty sure the dog carried the squirrel the whole route.  It was a little bit embarrassing when we passed by some folks but I recall that the dog had brought the squirrel all the way back to the house, so then I left the dog and the dead squirrel outside, and gosh it was a bit strange because the dog would get excited and throw the squirrel in the air with its mouth and then run in circles and go  back to the squirrel like it was the greates game in the world... The dog was maybe around 2 years old at the time...

so yeah animals do funny things.. sometimes that particular dog would find dead birds while we were walking and so it would stash the dead bird away somewhere and it would kinds of create a temporary burrial place, so then when we came back on the walk the next day, the dog would remember where the dead bird was buried. .which is a bit of an amazing thing too.. there were a few times that it would seem to forget and then remember like a week later on some subsequent walk after we passed by the bird several times.. .and then suddenly it remembered... I recall sometimes I would think that fucking silly dog.. since  when it buried things, it did not use its feet to dig and to bury.. it used its snout.. ahahahahahaa

Wow.

That one is sad but true, and it is one of those situations in which a lot of folks do those kind of things, but they usually would not put the blow by blows into writing.  I feel bad about the whole thing, even though for sure several of us were trying to talk him into sense and even though so many times we also his situation as an example of what not to do, and even at the time that it was happening there were several of us telling  him that he was going to go down in history books, especially based on his stubborness in not coming around.

I feel bad... but it is also like he caused his situation too.. but it is like an example in which any of us could end up getting stubborn and perhaps even digging ourselves in.. remember he was saying that MasterLuc or some shit like that had said that the BTC price was going to go below $2k or something.. and guys had asked him if he would buy back at $2,500 and he said that he probably would not because he was expecting quite a ways below $2k.

[edited out]
Many say their costs are low and their pockets are deep, but when the market really tests who they are, the truth is revealed, the market does not reward anyone with a small amount of money, the real thing is discipline, how much BTC you hold is important, but the decision of each sale is rational and emotional at the time.

Heavy sell-offs are often a reflection of emotion, not strategy, those who have gone through multiple cycles have made one thing very clear, the smartest sale is the one that matches your real life expenses, long-term strategy and risk management, and that is to sell on the wave of emotion, and the market never rewards that!

I am not sure if your theories are correct Abelly, since surely bitcoin has provided an opportunity for anyone and everyone with discretionary income to improve his situation as long as he has a 4-10 year or longer investment time horizon. there is just a need to make it through the first couple cycles and to just keep buying with whatever amount that you are able to afford.  It is problematic to try to over-think it or to proclaim that there is some kind of a conspiracy theory.

Sure the status quo rich do not want normies buying bitcoin, yet each of us still has abilities to frontrun them, and yeah sure some of us have front run them more than others as long as we don't get shaken out of our coins.

It seems to me to just keep buying  with whatever you can, and sure, maybe there are a lot of poor people who might ONLY be able to buy $10 to $50 per week, and so they won't be able to catch all of the low prices.. but who cares.. it will work itself out as long as they just keep buying and don't get distracted by the price, which seems to work to the advantage of any person still in his bitcoin accumulation stage, which is an overwhelming majority of the world's population is still in their early accumulation stage since they are either no coiners or low coiners.. even low coiners likely still need to be accumulating since probably only around 15 of the world's population has any meaningful amount of bitcoin.

Some perspective.

Looks like hot dogs.. or those linked sausages. Yummy.
