Sometimes the amount of stolen funds isn't worth their effort - and sometimes maybe one of them is behind it all so there's no point in investigating yourself, right? If we were to talk about conspiracy theories, maybe it would be logical that there is some CEX behind everything with the intention of showing that hardware wallets are not safe.

That little swindler CZ stated a few years ago that 99% of users will lose their cryptocurrencies if they keep them in non-custodial wallets. It's only a matter of time before he try to capitalize on this hack (if he haven't already).

Once it was initiated the handshake worked just fine.

Mind you, this was many years prior to the current AI crop and the massive volume of scam calls ...I only asked about it because of that book in which AI called the protagonist to establish machine-human intelligence contact.
