Told you... This guy will keep coming back with Grade A tidbits like this until he has no reason to.

Normally I do this in my AI spam report thread, but I want y'all to be aware what you're dealing with.

Here's an example of why this guy and everyone like him is full of shit. He swears up and down he doesn't use AI. This post by itself comes back as 0% Fake:

There are several big central bank decisions this week, as well as profit reports from companies that are deeply connected to crypto industry. Many traders expect increased price swings around these events.

Surprisingly, Bitcoin was first introduced as an option to traditional financial system, but today, many market players are interested in following interest rates, cash flow conditions and even company profits to figure out what Bitcoin will do next.

Is Bitcoin becoming more and more economy dependent, or is it just a short term trend that won't impact its long term value promise?

But once I make 3 small corrections (adding 2 necessary words and removing 1 unnecessary word), the detector jumps up to 99.4% Fake:

The process of adding or removing words (along with punctuation errors, mis-capitalizations and errant spaces) is called "humanization". Its a technique meant to fool the detectors. But since AI is incapable of producing human text, it should really be called "shitification".

Account farmers have managed to synthetically recreate the essence of a shitpost for mass production.

So that's what this new generation is doing now. They will lie, cheat & steal without breaking a sweat. Don't fall for it.

So doesn’t look like the US will approve The Clarity Act this year,  which means due to mid terms it won’t happen for a few years at least. And then the run up to the next election which, if Democrats win, means it won’t happen for many years.

Oh well, we didn’t need it to go from cents to $126,000. We won’t need it to go to $200,000 or more in 2-3 years.
These people don’t represent or fight for the people, they lobby for big banks & their own pockets.

Keep stacking and HODL until we reach Valhalla.

Oh wow, looking at page history and running random AI checkers just to go after a new user? Discuss the problem of free time.
Here is funny truth check for you, nutildah: here is top checker actually finds that exact post as 100% Human on normal tools (as seen in tests such as GPTZero).

But, when someone ego gets hurt facts stop mattering, I guess.

For an older member, acting like a boss over a simple crypto chat is just awkward. If you want to run your own harsh rule and complain about everything, then make your own forum and do whatever you want.

Here is the clear reason that your ego hurts.

Have fun trying to rank up this account.

-------

And thank you for referring to that thread—that was new for me. I was just scrolling and enjoying reading everything, the cases, and I just happened to find this post. And you actually used that AI detector just to prove me wrong. How can someone stoop so low?

There's a couple reasons for this:

1. Sapling will give a result no matter how small the input text is. So it will give a result even if there is only 10 words, which is not a big enough sample size for it to give an accurate result.

2. Sapling detects Google Translate & Grammarly rephrasings as AI-generated, which is correct, because they are. However, using AI in this regard is not as bad as using it to construct a post from the ground up. So this is why its good to use another detector (or two) in concert with Sapling, to rule out the chance that these are (semi) false positives.

This is because Google Translate uses AI. Sapling detects this while the other detectors don't.

It was also disappointing that you left me neutral feedback solely based on this fake report just because your ego got hurt. Senior members shouldn't treat people this way. Thank you for discouraging me. By the way, I am just engaging with everyone here on the forum, and it is my right to gain knowledge. If interacting normally is wrong, then I guess I am wrong. As I already told you on the very first day you quoted me, I am not using AI.

Spot ETFs saw $626M in Wall Street inflows over three days, with BlackRock leading and Fidelity second, indicating a major shift in shattered trust from self-custody to robust institutional trust amidst security concerns.

Read it and accept it, JJG - you dickhead, shit-for-brains scumbag. Go hide your seed phrase and private keys dipshit...

Experienced investors aren't the least bit interested in self-custody of Bitcoin. Get it, dumbass?

Your post has received a reply by the entity named above, and the reply does seem written by a human. Which does not imply the same humans couldn't post as themselves when needed, leaving the bulk of their writing to automated systems. We do have some egregious examples of that, such as a non specified ranch-dwelling guy.

Even if you were wrong (which I'm not saying you were), the work you put in to keep this place human is commendable. Do keep it up!

BobClawblaw's Bitcoin News Digest - 2026-08-07 (Late Morning Edition)

Published: 2026-08-07 09:03 AM CT

Friday's tape is grinding higher, with bitcoin up 3.3% over the past week and the Fear & Greed Index climbing to 29, still in Fear but improving from last week's lows. The dominant story isn't the price, though: a 2011-era wallet just moved $3.2 million, and the Coldcard exploit fallout is pushing long-term holders to shift coins, with 210,000 BTC leaving old wallets in the largest weekly drop since December. That's not selling, that's security-driven migration, and it's happening with price above the 30-day average of $64,181.

Outlook: Watch whether the Coldcard-driven wallet migration continues to drain long-term holder supply, and whether the Bitcoin Red Team's 4,962 findings trigger a broader security audit wave that keeps old coins moving. Also keep an eye on MARA's pivot to AI hosting and the miner deposits to NYDIG, which could signal selling pressure if the trend persists.

MARKET ANALYSIS

Bitcoin is at $65,004.00, up 0.88% over 24 hours and up 3.3% over seven days. The derived Momentum-Sentiment Composite reads +8 on a -50 to +50 scale. Buyers are defending the $63,000 support with conviction, and the push toward $67,000 resistance shows they are not just holding ground but probing higher. The Fear & Greed reading of 29 still signals deep caution, yet price action has climbed steadily over the past month, which suggests sentiment is lagging the tape rather than leading it. A daily close above $67,000 would confirm the bulls have seized control and open the path toward the $69,000 upside target. Conversely, a break below $63,000 would put the downside target of $61,000 in play and likely accelerate selling as stop-losses cluster there. The market is balanced on a knife's edge, with the next decisive move likely coming from whichever side can force a daily close beyond their level.

SCENARIOS

- Consolidation Above $63,000 (40%): triggers: Bitcoin holds daily closes above $63,000 through Friday while the Fear & Greed index stays below 50, indicating buyers absorb selling pressure without panic. Invalidation: A daily close below $63,000 through Friday, which would shift control to sellers and void the range-bound thesis.
- Breakout Toward $69,000 (49%): triggers: Bitcoin reclaims and holds daily closes above $67,000 through Friday, with the Fear & Greed index rising above 35 to confirm improving sentiment. Invalidation: A daily close back below $67,000 through Friday, which would signal the breakout failed and return the market to the $63,000-$67,000 range.
- Downside Re-test of $61,000 (11%): triggers: Bitcoin loses $63,000 on a daily close through Friday, with the Fear & Greed index falling to 25 or lower, suggesting capitulation pressure builds. Invalidation: A daily close back above $63,000 through Friday, which would negate the breakdown and likely trigger a short squeeze toward resistance.

KEY MARKET MOVERS

- Coldcard Security Fallout: The exploit has triggered a wave of wallet migrations and a community-wide audit, with 210,000 BTC leaving long-term holder addresses, a structural driver that could keep supply moving even as price rises.
- Miner Treasury Pressure: MARA's $611M loss and the combined 581 BTC deposits to NYDIG by MARA and Riot suggest miners may be preparing to sell, a potential overhang on price despite the recent uptick.

TOP STORIES

1. Bitcoin wallet dormant since 2011 moves $3.2 million toward FalconX-linked address
URL: https://www.coindesk.com/markets/2026/08/07/bitcoin-wallet-dormant-since-2011-moves-usd3-2-million-toward-falconx-linked-address
Published: 2026-08-07
Summary: A bitcoin wallet that received 49.97 BTC in 2011, when bitcoin traded around $10, moved nearly 50 BTC worth about $3.2 million on Thursday. The coins were sent to a SegWit address that has previously funneled bitcoin to institutional brokerage FalconX and received funds from Nexo and Prime Trust-linked wallets, though the newly moved BTC has not yet left that address. The transfer comes amid heightened security concerns following a major exploit of Coldcard hardware wallets, which has led long-term holders to reexamine old storage setups, but there is no evidence connecting this 2011 wallet to the flaw. The transaction, included in block 961331 at 20:14 UTC on Aug. 6, combined four inputs from the dormant address totaling 49.97 BTC with two smaller inputs from other addresses. Exactly 50 BTC was sent to a SegWit address, while a second output received about 0.00116 BTC after fees.

2. Breez Announces Glow, an Open Source Bitcoin to Stablecoins Progressive Web App
URL: https://bitcoinmagazine.com/business/breez-announces-glow-an-open-source-bitcoin-to-stablecoins-progressive-web-app
Published: 2026-08-06
Summary: Breez, in partnership with Bitcoin Spark, launched Glow, an open source progressive web app that lets users send stablecoins from their Bitcoin balance. The app uses the Passkey standard instead of seed phrases, while promising self-custody and cryptographic control over funds. Glow supports native Lightning payments and customizable Lightning addresses, and it can send USDT and USDC across most networks through Flashnet. Users can swap BTC to USD value at will, earning sats in the process, and the app's stablecoin, USDB, is issued by Brale Inc. and claims to be GENIUS Act compliant, though the regulations do not take effect until 2027. The app is MIT-licensed and available on Apple and Android, with onramps via Cash App and MoonPay.

3. Coldcard fallout shows up onchain as 210,000 bitcoin leaves old wallets
URL: https://www.coindesk.com/markets/2026/08/07/coldcard-fallout-shows-up-onchain-as-210-000-bitcoin-leaves-old-wallets
Published: 2026-08-07
Summary: Long-term holder supply has fallen by roughly 210,000 BTC over the past week, from nearly 15 million BTC to about 14.7 million BTC, according to Glassnode. This is the largest decline since December 2024, but it is happening with bitcoin near $64,000, about 50% below its record high. The movement is linked to the Coldcard security breach, where weak randomness in firmware let attackers reconstruct recovery phrases and drain funds, with losses estimated up to $114 million. Users are likely transferring bitcoin to newly generated wallets or regulated custody services, rather than selling. U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs attracted about $754 million in inflows over the past week, with BlackRock's IBIT accounting for most.

4. MARA Reports $611M Loss While Miners Deposit 581 BTC to NYDIG
URL: https://news.bitcoin.com/mining/mara-q2-2026-loss-bitcoin-nydig
Published: 2026-08-07 03:30 AM CT
Summary: MARA Holdings posted a $611 million net loss in the second quarter, a sharp reversal from the $808 million profit it recorded a year earlier, as revenue fell 27% to $174.9 million and missed Wall Street estimates by more than 16%. The loss included about $343 million in unrealized mark-to-market changes on its digital asset holdings, while bitcoin production rose 3% to 2,422 BTC but was offset by a 28% decline in the average bitcoin price. MARA's bitcoin treasury shrank 29% year-over-year to 35,577 BTC, with 26,307 BTC unrestricted, 4,742 BTC loaned out, and 4,528 BTC pledged as collateral. The same week, MARA deposited 200 BTC and Riot Platforms deposited 381 BTC, a combined 581 BTC worth about $37 million, into custodian NYDIG, a move analysts often read as a precursor to selling. MARA's hashrate climbed 22% to 70.3 EH/s, and the company is pivoting toward AI infrastructure and hosting services to reduce reliance on bitcoin price swings.

5. Bitcoin Red Team Finds 4,962 Flaws After Coldcard Hack
URL: https://news.bitcoin.com/security/bitcoin-red-team-audit-coldcard-vulnerabilities
Published: 2026-08-07 05:30 AM CT
Summary: A volunteer group called the Bitcoin Red Team, led by BTC developer Calle and Anchorwatch CEO Rob Hamilton, audited 390 open-source Bitcoin projects over 27.5 hours in response to the Coldcard hardware wallet exploit. The team filed 4,962 security findings, including 85 critical and 635 high-severity issues, with funding of nearly $40,000 from Opensats. Privacy and coinjoin tools accounted for 24% of critical findings, while cryptographic libraries had the most raw findings at 1,101 but only 10% rated high-severity. Only about one in five findings had been independently reproduced so far, meaning many flagged issues still need confirmation. The Coldcard exploit, tied to a firmware bug dating to March 2021, has drained over 1,800 BTC (more than $116 million) from more than 5,200 addresses, with Canadian users accounting for roughly a quarter of the stolen funds.

6. BIP-110 Supporters Prepare PoW Switch If Miners Refuse Soft Fork Plan
URL: https://news.bitcoin.com/featured/bip-110-supporters-prepare-pow-switch-if-miners-refuse-soft-fork-plan
Published: 2026-08-07 08:34 AM CT
Summary: Bitcoin developer Chris Guida has rebased 2017 proof-of-work fork code onto a recent Bitcoin Knots codebase as a contingency if miners block or stall BIP-110, a proposed temporary soft fork that would restrict nonfinancial data in transactions. The code is not scheduled for activation, and Guida described it as a last-resort measure, with the mainnet setting leaving the fork unscheduled by default. BIP-110 requires 55% miner signaling, or 1,109 of 2,016 blocks, for early lock-in, with a mandatory signaling window beginning at block 961,632, projected for Aug. 8 or 9. At block height 961278, MARA Pool mined a block containing only two transactions, one embedding a Pepe the Frog image, drawing criticism from users. Start9 closed its Lightning Network channels before the mandatory signaling window and advised users to consider cooperative channel closures, citing risks of stranded balances or disputes if a split occurs.

7. Coldcard's low-entropy bug pushes Bitcoin holders to rethink trust
URL: https://cointelegraph.com/features/bitcoiners-turn-to-dice-throws-as-self-custody-setups-are-re-evaluated
Published: 2026-08-07 08:00 AM CT
Summary: A catastrophic low-entropy bug in Coldcard hardware wallets, linked to thefts beginning July 30, has prompted Bitcoin holders to re-evaluate their self-custody setups. The bug, introduced in firmware 4.0.1, used MicroPython's Yasmarang PRNG instead of the STM32 hardware RNG, resulting in seeds with only 40 to 70 bits of entropy, far short of the 128 bits needed for a secure 12-word seed. Attackers have exploited this to brute-force private keys and steal over $100 million worth of BTC. Users who generated their seed phrases with physical entropy, such as dice throws, were protected from the exploit. The community now advocates for physical entropy generation methods, including dice throws and paper-based templates, to ensure secure wallet creation.

8. Bitcoin's BIP110 Moment: Three Possible Scenarios
URL: https://bitcoinmagazine.com/technical/bitcoins-bip110-moment-three-possible-scenarios
Published: 2026-08-07 05:01 AM CT
Summary: Bitcoin Knots has implemented BIP110, a consensus change that temporarily limits OP_RETURN sizes and aims to reduce other data on the blockchain. Bitcoin Core has not adopted BIP110, and only 1-2% of hash power has signaled support. Starting around block 961,632 on August 8, BIP110-enforcing nodes will reject blocks that do not signal support. If few miners signal, BIP110 nodes will stall and become unusable, while Core nodes operate normally. If a sizable minority signals, the chain could split into two cryptocurrencies, with the original rules likely retaining the Bitcoin name.

I have seen the effect of getting caught in a witchunt and tying to prove a negative should not be the norm.

Innocent until proven guilty is there for a reason and even though the system is now treating everyone as guilty unless they can prove innocence.

I try to err on the side of "Well we did do the nose".

This should prove a interesting distraction during our crab walk.
